Very pleasant place, young adult, liberal artsy crowd, and great, friendly service, although we visited at an off peak hour. Some gluten free option and gluten free bread available. Coffee is very good, and lots of Starbucky flavors, if you are so inclined... The affogato was quite a creation.
Such a cute atmosphere, but unfortunately not Celiac safe. They don’t have separate appliances or prep area, so cross contamination would be very present.

Shelf is the only restaurant with gluten free options that’s walkable from Ringling, and before I graduated I spent lots of lunches and dinners here. They can make any sandwich gluten free and they have rotating baked goods daily that usually feature a really yummy gf treat. My favorite sandwich is the avocado chicken panini and they always provide me extra sauce because my bread gets dry- even when i forget to ask :,). The staff are all extremely kind and the atmosphere they create is very pleasant.
