Update: They closed as of May 2023–Good food and a staff that clearly identifies GF options. They were knowledgeable enough to remind me when i asked about an option that couldn’t be made GF. It is one of our favorites and we love being able to have good takeout Chinese food

I walked into the small business after hearing about it on Facebook, and was immediately excited because I was told it almost everything on the menu could be made gluten-free. I got sweet-and-sour chicken with rice and egg drop soup. The egg drop soup was not so great, but the sweet-and-sour chicken is really good. I would go here again.

Amazing options! Staff was very helpful. Just reopened after a kitchen fire and daughter that has Celiac has been so excited to eat out at an Asian restaurant!

This restaurant has lots of gluten free foods I had egg drop soup and sweet sour Chinese and white rice they were polite and knew what CELIAC was the food was amazing

So happy to have found this restaurant! The menu on the wall as you walk in shows the gluten free options and gave me peace of mind that they were prepared to serve us. Super friendly vibe and great food. I'm not celiac but have eaten gluten free for many years

WONDERFUL and delicious choice for those needing to be gluten free due to Celiac Disease.

I've been to Shen Cafe a total of 4 times since my diagnosis in June 2017 (1 time as takeout, the other times dining in). Each time, they treated my order with care and I had zero negative reaction.

My favorite is the Genghis Kahn (it's just like Mongolian Beef or Chicken!). The egg drop soup is gluten free as well and quite good. Gluten free soy sauce is available when eating in, as well.
