Food was great and neither Celiac daughter had a reaction to their burger and chips. I felt uneasy with the waiter who seemed a little too relaxed (maybe from the marijuana??) with our dietary needs. But overall, turned out to be a nice dinner with a great view of the ocean and boardwalk.

I asked our waiter if they had a gluten free menu (they did) and was surprised to see how many options were available! It’s nice to actually have several options compared to just one or two. I ordered the Maryland crab soup as an app and then the salmon (without glaze) with mashed potatoes (no gravy) and steamed vegetables. The soup was amazing, but the salmon and sides were lacking flavor, but nothing some salt and pepper couldn’t fix. I give this place 5 stars because they did not mess up anything I ordered, I didn’t get sick, and they have multiple different dinner options (:

Great for our family of 5 - aged 6 to 45. Able to get chicken tenders for the kiddo while getting safe gluten free food for myself, who is diagnosed with celiac disease. So nice to be on vacation and not get sick!!

They have a GF menu and even specify on it to let your server know if you have celiac so the manager can monitor your order. Our server was very knowledgeable. I had the corned beef sandwich with a salad.

Staff is familiar with celiac. The gluten free guide was extremely helpful and thorough.. probably one of the best I’ve seen the whole trip. I ordered a Cobb salad with no croutons and it was very good! I did not get sick.

If you ask, there is a separate gf menu. I got a burger on a gf bun. It clearly states that they are not a gf establishment but I let the waitress know that I was gf/dairy free and she let the kitchen know. She was also knowledgeable on the safety of side dishes. Burger had a good taste and I had no reaction after!

They do have a gluten-free menu and if you stick to the steamed items you should be fine. At least they worked for me. They do have outside seating and with it being on the ocean side, it was also breezy. Go early because the restaurant gets very crowded since it is right on the boardwalk.
Yes
The grilled chicken on gf bun was delicious. Since they don’t have a dedicated fryer, they include a side salad instead of their chips or fries.

I asked for a GF menu and was really excited they had one. I picked the roadkill (pulled pork) on a GF bun and told the waitress I have celiac disease (sweet but young girl...). About one hour after dinner I got sick. Not sure exactly what triggered it but I’ve been feeling great for the last 3 days in OC. I highly recommend speaking to a manager rather than the waiter.
We got personal attention from the manager explaining what they could and could not do. And they cooked his hamburger in a separate frying pan. They have a shared fryer however so don’t expect anything fried.
Yes
Had a decent amount of options. Had the roadkill pig sandwich with gf bun, good! No reactions. Would recommend.
Yes
Please do not be fooled that this place has gluten free options. It's BS. Right on their "GF menu" it states that even though they have GF options, they fry in ONE fryer which causes cross contamination. I got so sick this morning from eating there last night. They don't offer GF bread, rolls, or pasta. Their disclaimer says they are not up to speed on what celiac entails and actually says please do not ask the server for recommendations! Shouldn't you, as a restaurant serving people, be up to speed as that is your job? Won't eat here again.
Very good food. Menus needs to be updated as some items are no longer available but overall very good. Shillaghi is gf. Didn't get sick.
We were a party of 12, two of us being gluten free. They have a separate gluten free menu. On the menu it says to alert the manager if you have celiac so he can ensure that precautions are taken. Our waitress assured me that it wasn't necessary and that she would take care of everything. I had scallops over risotto and my daughter had a salad with steak. Everyone in the group enjoyed their meals.

undercooked clams and potatoes in the pot boil, able to accommodate gluten free request but was unimpressed with quality of food, especially considering the price. no indication of GF options on the menu.
We love Shenanigans!! After mentioning to our waiter that our oldest son needed to eat gluten free because of celiacs he was very accommodating. He ended up coming back to our table to inform us that they do have gluten free buns which were delicious!
Yes
I'm a vegan and I have a severe gluten allergy so I called ahead and asked if they have gluten free, vegan options. They said yes. when I got there they told me the only thing they had that was gf and vegan was a hamburger bun. are you kidding me I called and asked if they had gf vegan options and all they had was a stupid hamburger bun!! and I got so sick after eating the bun so I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS PLACE AT ALL!!
No
Wendy
Ordered GF 8oz sirloin, mashed potatoes, and esophagus. When meal come out there was a regular bun on plate. Waitress never wrote gluten free on order and was told twice that daughter and wife are GF Remind waiters and waitresses to be sure to write GF. Manager made it right but waited for food after everyone else ate
No
Bar quality good but aware of the allergy. Decent atmosphere and service. Few minor complaints on my order but not gluten related. Menu was extensive which is not easy to find in Ocean City. Salad and chicken was ok but avoid the bacon unless you like smokey maple
They do have a gluten free menu, however it is very limited. I specifically told the waitress I needed everything to be gluten free, and my mashed potatoes were brought out with a dinner roll resting on them. They do have gluten free buns, which is nice, but they taste awful.
Had a full gluten free menu available and tons of options to choose from! Great GF buns for any burger or grilled chicken sandwich you choose. The waitress knew immediately that the fries were not GF and I was given other option at no extra charge. The mashed potatoes are GF and some of the best I have ever had. Burger was delicious.
The soups are made from GF broth. I had a crab soup and also the pork tenderloin was amazing. Good service.
They have a dedicated GF menu and carry Schar's products. Burger was great.
The crab soup was good. Nice to have a burger w a gf bun out. Server was knowledgable on what sides could/could not have.
They are the only place we have found so far in Ocean City that has a gluten free bun.
