Loved it here! Gorgeous food and peaceful atmosphere. Simply ordered on the Vending Machine under the separate GF Menu and really pleased with the variety! Over the moon I could have GF Fried Chicken it’s been so long and the Gyozas were absolutely bang on. I asked about the preparation and all prepared separately! Day 1 of Japan off to a strong start, would 100% do a return visit. Not bad for about £13 a head for a main and a side beats UK inflation.
If you translate their web menu, it warns all noodles are made in the same place, so probably not safe for celiacs.
Great ramen and GF/Vegan gyoza. The fried chicken was really good too. Won’t give a safety rating as I didn’t enquire too much, but I am symptomatic and didn’t have any symptoms.
For kids they had small bowls with white rice, spring onion and fried chicken.
Would advise against the red wine though, very sweet and barely any taste.
NOT GOOD! THEY TOLD MY FRIEND TO JUST EAT THE GLUTEN RAMEN! I went and didn’t feel good after eating. I was extremely bloated and felt terrible for a whole day after eating.
I had a friend go and she ordered gf and they gave her gluten ramen and chicken. The workers tried to tell her to just eat it and tried to say she ordered gluten ramen. They also said the chicken isn’t gluten free and they had no more gluten free noodles and to just eat the food they received. They left after being yelled and shouted at to “f*ck off” by one of the female workers. I wouldn’t go there again
Best place we ate in Tokyo, I think we ended up coming back around 4 times. You order on the menu outside and there’s a whole section for gluten free, including soy sauce based ramen and fried chicken!!
Amazing ramen and lovely little restaurant! I came here twice whilst in Tokyo. The staff are very knowledgeable on GF and cross-contamination and there is a good variety of GF meals! I had the miso ramen, fried chicken and chips, they were amazing! No wait time or booking required, you order out the front on a little machine! Loved this place!!
The best GF ramen and fried chicken. Super easy to order out the front on the machine once you click english. Pretty quick service, but is quite busy so big groups are hard. Really good flavour and had no issues after eating. Highly recommend the walk to find it. Also easily located as they have signs for gluten free and vegan outside. Paid ¥1,900 for double meat ramen which was a huge serving
Frigging amazing for the GF gang I have ❤🔥❤🔥❤🔥❤🔥❤🔥🍜🍜🍜🍜 gyoza, ramen, karaage - all the bliss in GF format and superb. We went here multiple times during our stay in Tokyo because it was so good (and a bowl of GF ramen not as easy as you’d think to come by during the NY holiday period).
Great variety of GF ramen with an option for GF fried chicken and dumplings. They state that the chicken and dumplings come from non-dedicated facilities, but I haven’t experienced reactions personally. The food is great and comes in massive portions—well worth the slightly steeper price.
Allergy friendly restaurant! QR quote for allergens posted inside restaurant.
Called ahead of time and was not able to get further information about allergens so was relieved to QR code. Took a pic for you!
Best Ramen EVER. Best fried chicken EVER!
I got the two meat GF ramen miso. I added extra green onion but it did not need it!
Got the vegan dumplings as they were GFand DF. They were lovely.
Small spot but was able to walk in and no line up on a Saturday for lunch.
Yum food, order outside on the machine and then received our food in less than 10 minutes. Fried chickens and dumplings were amazing
The store was located near Shibuya station. They had a variety of options of ramen including GF, regular, and vegan. I got GF soy sauce ramen and they were so good! The taste was great and I think that was the best GF ramen I’ve ever had. They also had some side menus such as Karaage (deep-fried chicken) and Gyoza. They were all GF and their fryer is dedicated to GF food. They also had GF soy sauce and vinegar for gyoza. It was a great experience!
Loved it. Now I see why 120+ good reviews. Maps from here had it off by about 100ft and put it right at a massive empty lot. Buy just a little up the road and saw the gluten free sign. Had two meat spicy misso, 2 piece fried chicken and gf veg gyoza. Good quality and taste. Small place but the upstairs was empty when we arrive at 530pm on a Friday night and 8 of us were able to sit together.
The ordering machine outside has English and clearly marked gluten free options. When I gave them my order ticket I also showed my Japanese celiac card. I had the gyoza and miso pork ramen - both so incredibly tasty. Ramen came out in white bowls, while the regular non-GF ramen was in brown. The sauces at the table are also marked GF. I ate here twice and had no reaction. Note: they do say it’s a shared kitchen, so I’m not sure if there are separate cooking spaces. I gave it 4 stars on safety because a 5 for me is dedicated GF.
So delicious! I had a long day of shopping and touring and by the time I decided I was hungry, I was hangry! I was around the corner from here and fried chicken and the dumplings hit the spot! They made sure they were gluten free for me. It looks hectic with seating, but by the time you sit, your food will be out. I didn’t have ramen, but the guy next to me did and he slurped away and it looked and sounded delicious! The ordering was annoying! You use a machine outside. I didn’t want to take my US Amex card, and it kept cancelling my order. It took like 3 tries and I finally found yen in my bag to use. So have your cash ready! But worth the frustration with the machine! But 2 pieces of gf chicken, 1 order of gf dumplings, and a glass of wine was 1400 yen or less than $10!!!
GF ramen, dumplings and fried chicken. They have GF soy sauce too. Also serve regular ramen which is great if you’re travelling with non-gluten free people.
I ordered GF ramen at the machine outside and was served regular ramen. I started eating the noodles and started feeling horrible and then I noticed the normal shape of the noodles vs the GF brown rice noodles. When I finally got the attention of the waitress, she did not make it right, but instead took me outside to the machine to make me order and pay for an entire new order of ramen (which I didn’t do). She wouldn’t show me the original ticket of my original GF order. Be extremely careful what you order and what you pay for. Now I will be sick for the next few days of Tokyo.
