Leuk verstopt cafeetje. We hadden de Rainbow cake en mont Blanc cake. Daarnaast 2 pizza punten en een mango smoothie. Eten kwam snel. Was ook erg lekker. Niets is droog, zit veel smaak aan. Genoeg keuze om lekker te lunchen of voor bij de koffie. Alles is glutenvrij en vegan. Zeker even langsgaan!

Great small gluten free and vegan cafe

100% Vegan + Gluten Free Cafe with 2 small tables and about 7 counter seats. Full menu with savory options (pizzas & burgers with set options) and desserts (cakes, tiramisu, muffins, cookies). No alcohol but full drink list of espresso drinks, teas, smoothies & juices. Owner is very sweet and has been operating the business for about 4 years. Just a block from Kappabashi-dori and a stone's throw from Sensōji, Ueno.. Please come enjoy some handmade rice flours treats!

Sidenote: I haven't had Japanese style strawberry shortcake in years. This one is so good and it's hard to believe it's vegan. 🥰 Americano was nice and strong and paired well with the cake.

Update: Came back to try a slice each of the vegan/gf margherita + "bacon" pizza. Both were delicious. I had to check the menu to see that it said "vegan" because the bacon tasted just like meat!

I visited the place in June '23. The menu has changed, they have some pizza and cakes, and no more hamburgers. Took the vegetables pizza, and it was delicious, with a sticky cheese that I loved. The space is beautiful and the staff is nice.

Ordered the Genki Burger and the strawberry shortcake for lunch. The burger was better than I was expecting for a vegan burger. The shortcake was a bit dense but not bad. This is a pretty solid option for gluten-free and vegan options.

Seating is limited, so groups bigger than 3 may not get seats. Food is ordered first, and you can ask for desserts to come out after you finish your meal. There was only two people working in the shop when I went, so service slowed down as the shop got crowded.

Wow!! Amazing!! Entirely gluten free and vegan menu accept for 1 burger. The burgers and cakes are amazing. The people were so nice and it’s was about 15$ usd for a drink, a burger, and a desert. It was all delicious.
