Was told they don’t have a separate menu and to just look at their regular menu; no gluten free bagel options

Based on the reviews, I was expecting a more comfortable and confident ordering experience here. They don't advertise items as gluten-free. The menu only notes, for example, gluten-free bread as a sandwich option (without elaborating on whether the other ingredients, such as sandwich meats or condiments, are gf). The waitstaff didn't give the impression of being well-informed or concerned about this topic.

I would absolutely recommend the cafe to people without dietary restrictions -- it's a fun little spot, with clean and welcoming dining spaces, friendly staff -- but probably won't be returning myself.

Many gluten free options. Nice combinations for sandwiches and paninis. They use a seperate panini press, fryer for fries (a little salty), and seperate knives & prep area for gluten free. I'd go back.

We were in Chester overnight recently unexpectedly and didn't have a lot of time to prepare for the trip. We happily discovered Shoo Mamas and were quite excited to be able to enjoy a safe meal out with our celiac six year old. The kids meal nuggets are GF and in their own fryer, and the gf pancakes have their own griddle. they were very careful to keep everything separate. it was a very enjoyable meal. I particularly loved the brie, cranberry and turkey panini.

Very casual, we ordered our food at the counter. A big selection of sandwiches which can be served on choice of gluten free bread or gluten free bagel. Most of their soups are gluten free. I loved the place, and my husband, my mom, and my kids all liked it too -- (they said the wheat based bread was very good).
