Our steamed basket of crab legs, shrimp, and mussels was delicious! We had it seasoned with Old Bay (which is gf) and with lemon and drawn butter. everything was incredible. Non-gf kids loved their lobster roll and crab roll. Fries aren't gf. It's a bit of a dive (by design) but everyone was friendly and accommodating.

So this was like our 5th or 6th choice for gf dinner but many restaurants on Carolina Beach are closed on Mondays, which is when we were there. We decided to go to Wilmington for dinner instead but I had issues with the restaurant I was heading to. So, call next place close to our airbnb. Called, great customer service and answered all my questions and asked cook for anything she was unsure of. Didn't sound rushed. Get there to pick up our take out and they were packed. It is a little bar near the boardwalk. It looked to be a fun place to hang out but we had kids and wanted to get it to go. We ordered steamed shrimp and steamed oysters with corn on cob for side. All was delicious! In my experience bar food is usually subpar but not here. When I got there both ladies were friendly. I would totally recommend this place for gf options, a fun atmosphere and great location.

All steamed seafood is gluten free as is the corn on the cob. Moscow mules are made with gluten free titos and gosling ginger beer

Amazing meal though on the pricey side. We had steamed clams, mussels, shrimp and oysters. Butter and cocktail sauces for dipping. So yummy!

Fun atmosphere where you shell your own seafood. Limited outdoor sidewalk seating and small interior.

The best! One of my favorites in Carolina Beach. Anything steamed is GF (crab, oysters, muscles, corn, etc.) and the service is always wonderful.

Have been here several times. Good friendly service. I talked to Caroline at the bar and she wad very helpful. Ther is No gluten free beer. She could not guarantee that their Shack Attack bloody Mary was made with gf ingredients. The only thing that is safe for celiacs here is the steamed items. Which is wonderful! The fries are not safe. There is only one fryer and they are cooked in the same fryer as breaded items. .

We had the steampot which was oysters, shrimp, clams, crab legs and corn all steamed and seasoned with Old Bay. Great atmosphere and food was great. Just make sure to discuss what you order with them if you venture past the steamed choices.

Perfect for lunch after a morning on the beach! I had their special half pound chilled peel your own shrimp ($7.99) and corn on cob($1.50). I'd definitely head here again. My non gf family had their low country boil with shrimp, potatoes, corn on cob and sausage.

Great seafood! Right by the beach so you only need to park once and then can go to the beach right after you eat!

Just ok. Fries are not gluten free as there is not a dedicated fryer. They do have red bridge gluten free beer and the steamed shrimp was good.
