I was underwhelmed by the food and unconvinced that it was celiac friendly. Maybe it was an off day, but the staff seemed scattered with our orders throughout the meal, which did not give me much confidence. The next day I chose to eat a protein bar and a fruit in my room instead.
This is one of those places where you just have to say “gluten free” when you walk in and they bend over backwards to accommodate. Culinary experts.
Always a wonderful menu and service. The chef is so considerate for special diets. In my case it is celiac disease and it has been excellently prepared. Chef prepared my order to not be cross contaminated which is rare. I enjoy the atmosphere as well.
The Siena restaurant at the Meritage was wonderful at making accommodations for our dietary restrictions. They went out of their way to verify ingredients/offerings were gluten free and safe for us to eat. They also sponsor the room service menu, which is clearly marked as to which options are gluten free. If we are ever in Napa again we will absolutely eat here again!
