Review of Silver Diner

I ordered a vegan dish (rice and veggies) thinking it might be a safer choice, given that there are few gluten free items available. I let the wait staff know about my need to avoid gluten and talked a bit about cross contamination, but several hours later I realize gluten was definitely in my food. I do not recommend this restaurant if you have celiac or are sensitive to gluten. Unfortunately I don’t think the staff is trained at all for food allergies, other than to possibly alert the chef.
