Review of Silver Slice Bakery

It seemed very safe, which is the best thing I can say about it. Nothing was labeled, the menu was confusing and misspelled, and I had to check out myself with a machine that didn't even have the things I ordered listed as "in stock," so the employee had to input fake items to get the correct price to come up. I also had to give them my phone number just to finish checking out. Why couldn't the employee have taken my payment instead?

I ordered the pizza pot pie, only to find out during check out that it was actually vegan, and the cookies and cream donut. The pot pie was bland, the texture was awful, and it tasted nothing like pizza, while the donut was unremarkable and had softer cookies topping it than the actual donut (which seems like it was baked in a mold). None of this surprises me, though, as the employee told me nothing was made that day. So I paid premium prices for bland food that wasn't even fresh.

Maybe it's better when you order ahead like the other reviewers mention, but I don't recommend buying out of the display.
