I have been going here for years and this was my first time since I was diagnosed. I really appreciate that they bring out the gluten sensitive menu to every table. They had the manager come out without me asking for them and discuss cooking the meal to avoid cross contamination and offered to pan cook my chicken because they put salmon with soy sauce on the grill. The meal was very yummy and I felt safe eating it. Definitely would return.
First of all, I’ve been coming here for years, due to the fantastic food. Unfortunately, about 7 weeks ago, I started having horrific reactions to gluten (possibly celiac, haven’t got tested yet) and have been struggling to find good GF food ever since. Silverado’s dedicates gluten free menu has my two all time favorite things on it: the portobello fajitas and flourless chocolate waffles. The mashed potatoes are also heavenly. I knocked off a star because the last time I went, I got the fajitas and had a minor pain in my stomach and abdomen for the rest of the day. Usually the fajitas don’t both me, so I think I’ll risk another chance with them.
There is a dedicated GF menu with some good and diverse options. A good option for going out to eat with friends and family.
They have a "gluten free menu". They have options for sandwiches and burgers, but don't have gluten free buns. Lame. They call their "gluten free" food "low gluten". They have a universal fryer, but they still have fries on their gluten free menu. AVOID ANY FRIED FOOD!!I had fajitas and they accommodated by giving my corn tortillas. They were great. I got a little sick, but not too bad. I was not impressed by their effort, but hey, at least they tried. Celiacs beware***
