Very good GF pastries. Had cinnamon buns and bacon and chives scones. Kids loved the cupcakes and cookies. I am a symptomatic celiac and was fine. I was stressed out because they display both GF pastries besides the regular ones. They don’t serve regular flaky pastries, so it was ok. It was worth the drive from the airport.
Amazing little find in the neighborhood! I had the vegan gf lemon bar, cookiedough bite, and chocolate pecan pie, and I honestly don’t know which I loved best. They were all fantastic! Same owner as 401K, the wonderful gluten-free restaurant next-door. Highly recommend stopping at both!
Pretty good stuff. A little bit hit or miss, but overall we enjoyed. Not the best gluten free bakery I’ve been to but definitely in the upper tiers. Clever concept with the GF items being for “saints”, I got a kick out of that. My sister and I shared a box of various mini items. I appreciate they have mini cupcakes and stuff so you can try many things without having to commit to a full size item.
This place is absolutely amazing! There are so many gluten free dessert options, and they are all so good! They organize the dessert with a flag system (black means it contains gluten and white means it is gluten free). Be aware that all the deserts (gluten and gluten free) are in the same dessert case but from what I remember the desserts with gluten are on one side of the case and the ones without gluten are on the other side and are not touching. I am very sensitive to cross contamination, but I had no issues here with cross contamination.
I’m so obsessed with this place. I’m a lactose intolerant celiac, and I’ve never been sick from any of their treats. Everything is marked with allergens. All the staff are knowledgeable in gluten free. The girl behind the counter today is also celiac, and she said everything is super safe. Any time I’m even remotely close to Marina Del Ray I think, “welp, guess I have to go to Sinners & Saints now.” Seriously delicious stuff.
I’m always scared to try new places because a lot of restaurants aren’t trained well on gluten free food, but this place is AMAZING! The girl that took my order even had celiacs. It’s not a gluten free facility but they do an amazing job of making sure there’s no mess ups. I ate a cupcake, tres leches, and cheesecake and had ZERO reactions. It was delicious! Will be going back again and again and again. Thank you 🙏🏻
EXCELLENT bakery. They are NOT a wheat free facility as they do also make and serve wheat (aka 'sinners') desserts, but the staff seemed confident about their ability to serve gluten free guests so we gave it a try. We had NO problems with any of the baked goods and my son is highly allergic to wheat. They said they make them at different times so there's no chance of a slip up. They also have things with tree nuts and peanuts but we they were very aware of what had what and we avoided the tree nuts due to additional allergies and again had no issues. Highly recommend, very delicious.
This is absolutely the very best GF bakery I’ve ever been to!! Anybody can make GF bakery items, but it’s very hard to make them taste great. Elisa and her staff have figured out GF baking and it shows, every item I tried was as good / if not better than the previous! My (non-GF) wife and kids loved the GF items as well and they have the pleasure of eating normal bakery items. The Tres Leches cake is to die for, best my wife and I have ever had, hands down! The donuts were phenomenal, my kids said they tasted better than normal donuts. This will be my new go to bakery!! I talked to Elisa for about 30 minutes and I’m very confident about the precautions she and her staff take when baking the GF (Saints) and non GF (Sinners) items. Fellow Celiacs should feel safe eating here.
Amazing treats! Many options!
My boyfriend who is not a big sweets fan and doesn’t eat gluten free was amazed by how good everything was. He asked to go back for more tres leches cake!
So many gluten free pastries!!
One side of the case is gluten/ regular (SINNERS), and other half is gluten free (SAINTS). They put tiny flag on each of them, so super easy to chose from.
They have mini size cupcakes and pastries too!
My favorite is TRES LECHES!
They also have Tiramisu too!
*It says they do take precautions to minimize cross contamination, but since they have both gluten and gluten free, severe celiac people might have to be careful.
