One of the ladies who works there actually has celiac disease so they have a separate kitchen and completely get the issue. The muffins are pretty good. The cookies...not my favorite. They can make their sandwiches on gf bread as well. *ate here again and had the Reuben....everyone is correct, their gf bread is amazing! And they are still great with being celiac safe! On the same street as cafe cusco and van goghs eateries which are also celiac safe places to eat!

Wow wow wow! What a find! We were on a road trip and stopped in after all of the raving reviews. We were not disappointed. The staff was incredibly knowledgeable and friendly (even offering to ship me frozen GF bread because it was so tasty). If I could give 10 stars I would.

Not only was the bread gluten-free but also vegan. They toasted sandwiches for us with coconut oil And they were amazing! Very welcoming and accommodating. Friendly owners and staff willing to help and answer questions. Deli meat is gf. Loved the German potato salad! They even had some gluten-free vegan desserts that were delicious! Highly recommend!

Ate here again when visiting and it never let's me down!! Yum, yum, yum!! This place makes me feel so safe since one of the sisters also has celiac and they have an entirely separate kitchen. It's a small, quaint place serving salad, sandwiches and pasta. They offer GF bread and can make you any sandwich and also have GF pasta depending on daily specials. They also offer yummy deviled eggs as a side option. The GF desserts are awesome, especially the GF blueberry muffins which are the best I've ever had. Wish I lived in Springfield so I could eat here ALL THE TIME!!!

Best sandwich and muffin I've hand in years. I also have a Gluten detection dog and cleared many items that manager\owner asked me have him check. I've never been to a more celiac friendly place. Will gladly drive the 2 hours to eat there again and stock up a few item for home.

This was such a great, refreshing restaurant to find. Anytime you can go into an establishment and not worry about the food you are getting is such a relief. They have so many options of gluten free foods, and the option to make any sandwich gluten free as well. Also, if you are eating with a friend or significant other, they are going to have their own non-gluten free options that are just as good. Great food, friendly staff, and there's also a small market in the store to build up your pantry with quality ingredients. We come back here frequently, and are always met with a smile and consistently amazing food. Probably my favorite restaurant in town, and would be even if I wasn't having to eat gluten free! UPDATE: Found out today that they have started selling frozen quiches, muffins, and cupcakes at HyVee! Look in the frozen section at the back left corner of the store where they keep the organic selections. This is quite possibly the best news I have ever heard, because I could live off their quiche. Now that it's so easy to get, I just might!

This was an amazing little place! The gentleman who took our order was super nice and helpful! We have five kids and he patiently answered my questions and even offered to give my son a taste of the tuna salad to make sure he liked it. They had a black bean soup and chili that was gluten free as well as all their sandwiches that could be made gluten free. It was all delicious! We had to try some desserts since they had so many that were gluten free! We tried the Butter Bars, Peanut Butter Cookie, Cookie Sticks, and Blueberry Muffins. All of them were amazing!! The owner was so sweet also! I highly recommend it!

This was a true treat for my husband, son and me!! Delicious and totally celiac safe - in fact the owner (who was super nice) came out and spoke with us and she explained to our three year old son (who has celiac disease) that she also has celiac disease and doesn't eat gluten - he thought that was pretty exciting - and we had extra trust in the safety of the food as a result! The bonus was that the sandwiches were really incredibly delicious! P.S. She has a separate kitchen for gfree so no cross contamination!! Oh and the muffins are amazing!

Gluten free bread was yummy! Our son got a grilled cheese sandwich on gf bread- I ate all the crust. The chocolate chip cookie was very crumbly & we weren't that impressed. But the blueberry muffin was moist & delicious- we had to buy another one because the first one was eaten immediately! Service was great & the place itself was quaint.

Wow - just wow. Took my dd out for mom and daughter date. We decided to give this place a try. So glad we did. So excited to find such a unique, quaint little spot which caters to the gluten free foodie. Their dedicated kitchen made me feel good about my meal - then I tasted my roast beef sandwich - wow. Might have been the best ever. They took extra care with our extra allergies (more than gluten). So impressed with these ladies! Highly recommended!
