No longer a dedicated GF facility/kitchen. They now have a couple things on the menu that contain gluten (bagels, burrito). I ordered the paleo waffle and it was good!

This used to be a dedicated gluten free place that we really enjoyed. We went in recently and found out it was no longer dedicated gluten free. We were assured they were very careful, that they knew how to keep the food separate. Not true. I got very sick. Luckily I was able to call my daughter, who also has celiac disease, and she hadn’t eaten hers yet, so she threw hers out.

This is NOT A DEDICATED FACILITY as of a week ago, but their website still states that they are a dedicated facility. I have been throwing up for hours which I didn’t know was even one of my gluten symptoms since I have never been this sick since being gluten free. I am very upset by Sisu Cafe. They promised me earlier in May that they were honoring the previous owner by keeping the restaurant gluten free. After calling them to ask if they were still dedicated they were very nonchalant when stating that they decided to add gluten items last week. Honestly, the worst part is that it wasn’t advertise that they were no longer dedicated— the website stated “our kitchen is also completely gluten free,” the menu stated “gluten free wraps and sandwiches,” and the Chownow order even stated “smoked salmon sandwich … on gluten free bread.”

Whole menu and kitchen is gluten-free! Sandwiches, wraps, smoothies, waffles, and quinoa bowls.
Service was fast. I was not a fan of the taste of the wrap itself. It was a bit chewy. The filling was decent. All was gf so good to be safe. This used to be called something else and was just smoothies—what we had back then tasted good but expensive. There seem to be less smoothie options and they are more expensive. Still nice to have an all gf fast option.

Love the concept and the atmosphere of all the little spots in a repurposed elementary school. Had an oat milk smoothie that wasn’t fully blended and didn’t have the creaminess of oat milk. Waffle sandwich tasted pretty good but was small. With those two I thought I’d be full but wasn’t. Nice staff.

I love going to restaurants that are 100% gluten free! It takes so much of the anxiety out of eating out and the kids love it when they can have ANYTHING on the menu. My husband gave the Pike's Peak wrap an A+, my daughter loved the acai bowl and my son and I give glowing reviews to the waffles. The staff was friendly and there is a beautiful view of the mountains.

There is nothing like a restaurant in which you can order anything on the menu! It’s 100% better when the food is as good as the waffle sandwich I just finished.

Everything is 100% gluten free! Kitchen is clean and they have lots of sandwich options and breakfast. Inside a little plaza that has a coffee shop with gluten free pastries

Had brunch here with my daughter who is celiac. The waffle sandwich was a big hit and the pb and banana toast was amazing. Dedicated gluten free place so everything is doable! Vibe was very San Diego laid back, with a beautiful ambiance. Sweet staff.
