Review of Six Flags Over Texas

There are very limited options in the park, and a lot of previously mentioned items have disappeared post-Covid. We had to ask for supervisors at individual establishments, and that seemed to be the only reliable way to get information.

1) Johnny Rockets no longer has any GF items available

2) All American Cafe does not have a GF pizza anymore

3) Macho Nachos claims to be GF; they use Tostitos for chips, and use Saucemaker white Monterey Jack Cheese sauce, both of which are listed a gluten free. We didn't eat here, though.

4) JB's Smokehouse has dedicated fryers for fries. No GF bun for the hamburger/brisket, but you can use your lettuce as a wrap. The manager seemed to understand the GF restrictions, knowing enough to make a worker get a new hamburger when she accidentally touched it with a bun--but make sure you mention the restrictions at the counter so that they can inform the appropriate individuals.

5) No one at security checked for food in our bags, so we had plenty of snacks that worked.

All in all, very few options, but enough that my 3 celiacs were fed and satisfied.
