Their eggs and bacon are naturally gluten free. They also carry gluten free bagels. I asked and they toast them in a dedicated toaster, so there’s no cross contamination.

This place had a lot of options online but do not have educated staff. Sadly, we almost ordered the Alfredo and thankfully my boyfriend checked, the sauce has flour in it.

I felt really nervous eating anything after that knowing my server didn’t check with the kitchen before and after I ordered our food.

Nice staff but needs to be more educated if they’re going to offer options.

Gluten-Free at Skidders Restaurant
Mexican omelette and home fried potatoes
Their eggs and bacon are naturally gluten free. They also carry gluten free bagels. I asked and they toast them in a dedicated toaster, so there’s no cross contamination.
Be careful, because although they carry gluten free options, I think they use the same toaster (not a dedicated toaster). I ended up having eggs and bacon (taste: 3/5).
I tested my gf cheese pizza with my NIMA sensor and it came back as good to go!

We went here with family because it got a great rating here. I asked about gf and was told what I could get. My meal came out and looked sketchy, so I asked again. When I got near the end of my meal, I found a piece of an onion ring in my food. I asked about it and the owner was a total jerk about it. He kept telling me that they owned two other restaurants in the area that are gf and I should go there and just wouldn't stop acting like an ass. I was with a huge party and we all left feeling very uncomfortable. I will never set foot in this place again and will never go to the other places either. After sitting for no less than 15 minutes listening to him go on and on about how great they are, he didn't even do anything to comp the meal or any part thereof after finding the onion ring in my food. I spent the rest of the night praying I didn't get sick, thankfully I didn't.

Went here for breakfast. They’re open for dine in. My family are late raisers and Skidder’s was the only place we could find that served breakfast until 1 pm. Their menu is marked with gluten free items (omelettes, bacon, eggs, ham). I was most excited about their gluten free bagels. I asked and they toast them in a dedicated toaster, so there’s no cross contamination. I had bacon, eggs, and a bagel. Service was great, taste was ok.

I went to Skidders for my first time this evening and was not disappointed. A huge, diner-like menu, there are options for all (GF and non). No separate GF menu but waiter was really to ask questions of the chef. I had a delicious seafood pasta dish, 10/10. Great service and experience, can’t wait to go back (and looking forward to visiting their 100% gluten free bakery)

Server was knowledgeable about GF items and anything she wasn’t 100% sure if she would go ask. GF toast option was really great- much tastier than the average Udis toast. I had 2 eggs with gf toast and home fries (also gf also delish) Decided to tried their GF bagel with cream cheese as well - very similar to a basic Lenders bagel. Overall very happy with the experience- great diner breakfast with GF options.

Spent weekend at St. Pete Beach. Best GF experience out of all my dining out. Waiter seemed very attentive to my allergy. When asked about menu items, if he didn’t know he would go ask the owner who was at the door. I opted for the special which was seafood fra diavolo with GF pasta. Was delicious. Also had the grilled octopus as an app.

The website touts gluten free but I didn’t feel 100 percent sure. Our waitress was great and checked with kitchen but I still felt unsure. I had expected to feel sure after reading the owners were the same as Craft Cafe owners. After asking enough questions I ordered chicken pasta without eggplant. The red sauce was delicious, one of the best I ever had . For that on the gf pasta I would go back.

The food was mediocre here. Our server wasn’t knowledgeable on gluten free foods and the menu is not noted for it. I ordered the broiled seafood trio and felt fine after. My husband had The steak and it wasn’t very good. They did have gf bread and said they use a separate toaster and it was good.

The server was nice but not very knowledgeable about what was GF and what wasn’t (told me the chicken piccata would be fine but when I asked if she was sure, because I know that dish is often made with flour, she checked with chicken and found out it wasn’t). GF bread is terrible. The fish I had itself was pretty good, but if you’re GF and especially if yore celiac, I would avoid going here.

They are amazing! I ate here with my family today not knowing what it would be like for a gluten free person, and what an awesome experience! They don't have a physical menu, but the manager came over and explained all of the options for me, and let me ask any questions I had. They have gluten free pasta, meatballs, bread for sandwiches, and probably other things that I'm forgetting. They were so friendly and helpful, and I will definitely be trying out the cafe they own, Craft Kafe (100% gluten free)!

I went tonight with my family, kids celiac so usually we're limited to only a few chain restaurants. First off this restaurant's owner also owns Craft Cafe a great gluten free cafe we visited. He sat down next to us and explained what they could do for us gluten free and in addition to the attentive staff stopped by multiple times to make sure everything was ok.

I would not hesitate to recommend this restaurant for anyone, and I'm sure if by chance something wasn't right they'd fix it.

I had seafood pasta, my wife had the pizza burger. The kids had gluten free burger and chicken Alfredo with side Caesar salads no croutons. All was excellent and would re-order it again. Although their pizza looked really good.

Celiac's feel confident in coming here and try Craft Cafe (huge selection of GF baked goods).

This place is AWESOME & super Gluten Friendly for gluten free peeps like me! I told them I was GF, they were so accommodating! Although they don’t have separate GF menu, they had GF Pasta, GF Bread, GF sauces, GF Pizza. Most everything is made from scratch, even the salad dressings- all GF! The server Patricia was SO knowledgeable & helpful, with recommendations & offering to accommodate me any way they could. When I ordered GF supreme pizza, the owner recognized the supreme came with meatballs that are not GF, so he came to my table just to confirm & offer me a different topping in its place. This is now my new favorite local spot. Such an enjoyable dining experience which is so hard to find being GF. 5 stars, 2 thumbs up!!!

The staff was really great about explaining their processes and making sure I was safe. I also used my Nima sensor to be sure and it came up as good to go. The only reason I’m giving it a 4 is because the crust on my pizza was a bit too thick. However my family who had non-gf items loved their food, which is huge!

My whole family but my husband is gluten free and even he loved the gluten free option that they had for us. The staff was very good at getting you seated fast, taking your order, and bring your food to you right away. I never have had bad service there.
