Many of the items on their Gluten Free Menu turned out to be too good to be true. The Manager came to the table and let me know they do not have a separate fryer for gluten free meals, so there is cross contamination.
There were a lot of negative reviews on this site from 6 years ago, so here is a better one from 2023. Skipjack's now has a menu of the items they can make GF and they also have a dedicated fryer. So you can get fries and calamari in a rice batter. Unfortunately, they do not list on their website that they have GF options and I almost didn't go there because of that.

I have celiac and got extremely sick a half hour after leaving while shopping. It ruined my night out and I had a very painful 40 minute ride home after spending an hour in a store bathroom. I got calamari as an appetizer and fish and chips. If you have celiac DO NOT GO HERE!
they say gluten free but manager told me not to eat anything because its not guaranteed. aweful experience
food was delicious. Waitress warned me not to have anything fried if gluten allergy.
Please note the staff & management are not properly trained. FYI the calamari is cooked with sweet potato fries that have a coating that contains gluten. I would not recommend eating here.
