Review of Slate Wine Bar

Truly OUTSTANDING dining experience. Had the veg paella and was it delightful to this meat-eater 😉. I am extremely sensitive to gluten cross-contamination and had no discomfort at all. It was rare and glorious. The chef came out and introduced himself to me - great guy who views food allergies as a way to better his cooking. Safe and delicious dining, great atmosphere, outstanding wine "flights". I loved everything about this place and will go out of my way to return when I'm in DC.
