Review of Slippery Otter Pub

Just ok - very expensive restaurant and charges extra for EVERYTHING-very limited in selection for gluten free celiac. I called ahead & was told Pizza crust was made next to the regular crusts & would be cross contaminated. They did have GF Udi brand buns but fries were not cooked in a dedicated fryer. We understood these things before we got there. What we did not realize was there wasn't other options besides to substitute a salad ($1 extra). She asked without a salad (or fries) if she could order vegetables- the server said it would be extra! With already paying $2 for the gf bun ( and $1.50 to add cheese) she decided to just have the burger. Another person in our party had a regular Swiss mushroom burger ($14) & tasteless. Both burgers were dripping with fat ... buns were soggy. Our server mentioned that she could have the pizza but when I mentioned I had called & was told it could be CC he kinda laughed about it. My thought is if you are going to say you have GF items you should have more than 1 choice and have choices in sides. West Yellowstone sure has been a challenge- luckily we had a condo & could make meals ourselves.
