It’s closed. And 30 character minimums are stupid.
Nice job n good food. We had no problems wl getting gluten free food. She asked if was allergen related n when we said yes she made sure there was no cross contamination. The waiting time was no worse then anywhere you get fresh hambugers. Would go their again.
From a Celiac standpoint, we turned around and left at the counter. When asked about GlG items and the dedicated fryer, there was a great deal of guessing and, "I think so". We are off to a better informed burger restaurant.
great GF experience! the manager Ashley went out of her way to reassure me that they take every precaution to make sure I had a safe meal. The grilled chicken was tender, the GF UDI's was soft, and the sweet potato fries from the dedicated fryer were delicious! Ashley made sure my mayonnaise was from an unopened bottle. my dining companion also ordered gluten free. He had the BBQ burger with bacon and cheddar cheese. Ashley said to make it gluten free they had to take off the "haystacks," which is fried onion straws. Make sure to ask to speak to Ashley or another manager when ordering.
Oh my goodness! The cucumber goat cheese grilled chicken sandwich on a gluten free bun was absolutely fabulous!! I'm gluten free preference, not allergy, but they made sure to ask me which one. So, I cant say about how well they separate gluten free from "regular " food. I loved everything I ate here.
When I order, they inform the kitchen that they need to change their gloves and take the necessary precautions. I ask that they get all of my toppings from the cooler to avoid cross contamination and they have always been happy to do so. They offer Udi's buns and most of their burgers can be made gluten free.
The cashier was very knowledgeable about what was gluten-free. They recently changed their burgers’ spice recipe to make it gluten-free. They have gluten-free buns. They have a dedicated fryer for gluten-free french fries as well as gluten-free sweet potato fries.
went. ordered burger with a GF bun. they had to come back and ask me if I wanted the onion rings on it.... (I am not eating GF for the bread?!?). the staffed didn't seem very knowledgeable. they also wouldn't let me order just a hot dog for my daughter.
At this point it is too early to tell (stomach wise), but there appear to be options here. They do offer Udis buns but do not that they toast them. You can tell them you don't want them toasted if you are celiac. I got a make your own burger and kept it simple. I asked if the burgers are made separate from bread and if they could change gloves. I am not confident the message made it to the kitchen but you could easily walk around to the person receiving the food and ask them to tell the preparers to use caution.Overall, not the best burger but better than what I remember typical fast food being. I did not ask about their salad choices. After I ordered I asked about their fries and was told they don't do anything but fries in the fryer but I would have wanted to confirm with a manager or cook. Makes me nervous in a kitchen like theirs. I am celiac but not sure I would say it's celiac safe necessarily because of high risk. Here's hoping I (and you) don't get sick.
One extra star for offering a GF burger, but web site says they toast that GF bun in the same gluten filled toaster with wheat buns. I'm boycotting this place because it would be an easy fix to heat a GF bun using alternate methods, but they don't so they don't get my business. Web site says the seasoning is now GF.
I'm Celiac and eat the Smashburger with cheese and their sweet potato fries. because I'm also diabetic. When ordering ask for the gluten free bun, it's real good. They bring the food to you and ask if there is anything else you need. Very friendly. My daughter and I enjoy eating there.
Last time we went they said the seasoning in the burger may have gluten and they can not guarantee that it's safe since they grill and use same utensils for gluten and "gluten free" cooking. I wish they worked a little bit better on this because it would be awesome.
Been here twice now. Both times the person taking my order was knowable and knew what I could and couldn't have which was great cause unfortunately the allergen list is on thier site only. Fries are fried in thier own fryer and are safe. Both times the cooks changed thier gloves and the time I got an order to go put my gf stuff in it's own bag separate from my bf normal burger and labeled it as well.
I've been to this location a few times and remember the staff mentioning that they were toasting GF buns on the grill, so I specifically asked them not to do that. Not celiac, but highly sensitive to gluten. Had a turkey burger with sweet potato fries and water for lunch, and within an hour afterward felt dizzy and had a terrible headache. Also had to take a long nap, which is my "tell" when I've been exposed. Giving it a miss from now on, which is sad, because I really like the food here.
"The only thing we have that's GF are the buns and, um, I think the sweet potato fries." Me: "And the burgers?" Answer (sneered) "No. What, do you want *everything* GF?!?" Me "Yes, otherwise I'll get sick." Answer "Let me ask my manager." Manager confirms burgers aren't GF and everything's cooked on the same grill, so contamination is an issue. Either they're not GF or they're clueless about what GF is, so eat elsewhere. I walked out. (Yes, I asked what they had that was GF that I could put on the GF roll. I was told, nothing). Run, don't walk away.
I ordered the Udi's bun, cheeseburger and asked that they changed gloves and tried to prevent cc as much as possible. I got a sigh and a statement about how it might happen anyway. I said I understood and just asked that they do their best. The fries are cooked in a shared fryer, so no fries. The burger was really good. I don't react immediately so I'm still not sure if I was glutened.
I eat here all the time and it's always tasty. I always get a smashburger with a gluten free bun and the smash fries, which I've been told are gluten free and have had many times and have never gotten sick. they also have gluten free shakes which are always good. one of my favorite burger joints.
I don't have a smashburger around me. I didn't know what to expect but I was pleasantly surprised. I ordered their gluten free bun (which was one of the bests I've ever had), the employee ask if it was an allergy so they could tell the cook to prepare it on a separate grill. Employees were really nice and knowledgeable about the situation.
Undies Gluten free bun option on build your own Burger but other than offering that the staff really didn't have much gf knowledge - seems like they thought offering the option was enough. They do not have a dedicated fryer so be prepared to be cross-contaminated if you eat the fries (learned that the hard way cause I forgot to ask). Service was great though!
Just left this location, without eating. Asked for an allergen list or gluten free menu, was told they don't have one. Asked about gluten free options, and they suggested we order a black bean burger. Explained that would be a vegetarian option, that gluten meant flour/wheat. Reply, oh well I don't know about those things, sorry. Did not feel safe ordering from there.
Gluten free bun, the bun had seeds and I asked about it because GF buns are generally super plain. The man in the back saw me waiting and came out to insure me it was ok.
