Very knowledgeable and accommodating staff.
My food was cross-contaminated. I let the staff know of my issue with gluten but even after doing so and ordering my burger on a gluten free bun, I got indigestion, an awful headache and diarrhea afterward. Will not be going again.

They do have a dedicated fryer but then said their fries have a coating on them and they aren’t gluten free. The burger was delicious, even with no side of fries.

Although this place is not dedicated gluten-free, they’ve done a great job, making me feel really comfortable eating here. They have two people on staff with celiac disease who have done a great job training everyone about cross-contamination. They even have a dedicated frier for French fries!

Had a burger on a GF bun with sweet potato fries. Everything tasted great. No reactions. But they put my fries on my husband’s tray with his regular bun. When I pointed it out, they were like, “Meh.” So he ate the fries.

Horrible customer service and attitude. Asked if they had gf buns and was told yes, asked if the cooktop was shared with gluten containing buns and was told no. Paid $17 for a burger and a drink as they weren't clear on the fries, stood around for 5 minutes only for the cashier to come tell me the cooktop IS shared with regular buns and they DON'T have gf buns but asked if I still wanted the food. I said no I would like a refund her answer was "are you serious you really want a refund" we did this 3x to which she then said "you want me to go get my manager to give you a refund?" To which I again said yes, I can't eat safely. Manager came out and again questioned me and asked if I was serious. I was not given a full refund (even though no part of my order was given to me) because they "already started cooking my food". I gave up took the partial refund and left. 0/10.

My daughter is a sensitive celiac. She’s a teenager and it really limits her ability to go out and eat with friends while doing teen things. After looking online, we saw that Smashburger offered GF buns so we gave it a try. When we ordered a burger on a GF bun, the person at the counter asked if she had celiac and we’d we said yes, she told us they’d change their gloves when preparing and also told me they would skip toasting the bun. I asked if fries were GF, but after checking with the manager she verified that they weren’t safe due to CC. When our food was brought out, they had packaged the GF burger in a separate bag. My daughter enjoyed her food, although the bun did fall apart a bit (it was an Udi’s bun).
She didn’t get sick. It’s great to know that there is a fast food option for when she goes to the mall with friends.
