Very good and didn't get sick. Love that the fries are in a dedicated fryer!
My daughter had the kids cheeseburger on a gluten free bun and fries (dedicated fryer) and loved both. Employees were knowledgeable about cross contamination and items were clearly marked on the menu.
They have a gluten free bun and gluten free menu. Gluten free fries too! Really good!

I’ve been there a few times. Never had a reaction. When ordering make sure to tell them you have an allergy or are Celiac. They will mark it on the order receipt. You can order any of the burgers with GF buns. They will change gloves and clean the workstation, however, I ask my bun not to be toasted (they don’t have a dedicated one) and not Mayo because they change the utensils they use to put it in your GF bun, but the Mayo itself is still the same. So cross-contamination with the Mayo is very possible.
Fries are awesome both potato and sweet potato! They have a dedicated fryer.
My fav burger is the Colorado with green Chile!

The people here are so nice!! Wonderful experience, they ran out of gluten free buns but they were so nice I didn’t even care. They were knowledgeable and explained the separate friers and oils. I subtracted a safety heart just because it’s not dedicated gf.
I asked, they said they do not change gloves or take any precaution to limit cc, and fry everything in the same oil, kids working the kitchen and this location in particular is very dirty. Skip!
Staff seemed knowledgeable. I had the burger with gluten free bun and fries. Didn’t get sick or experience any symptoms.
The Des Moines Smadhburger is great. I am very sensitive and have had no problems with the ha mburger and fries.
At this location they say they have dedicated fryer and gluten free bun. Charge extra for bun.
