So good that we dined there 2 nights in a row on our trip. There is not a dedicated GF menu but servers are extremely knowledgeable. They understand cross contamination and can tell you what items need to be removed to make the item GF. I am an extremely sensitive celiac and had no issues. Food was delicious and servings were huge!

Leslie was super knowledgeable about the menu. Told me about modifications and the menu in depth. We got the brisket dip with tortilla chips (she confirmed GF) and the burnt ends special (also confirmed GF and she double checked the sides). Overall it was mediocre BBQ but the sides and the sauces made it delicious. I’d come here again just because of the amount of choices, the execution, and the staff.

Food was fantastic! Waitress was super sweet, knowledgeable and understanding. She totally put my mind at ease and I was able to have a lovely meal. Wonderful experience! All the meats, sauces and a few sides are GF. No dedicated fryer 😞

All their smoked meats and sauces are gluten free. Got the southwest salad with pulled pork, it was good!!

Great service, good view of Mirror Lake, delicious BBQ! My southern boyfriend was skeptical of NY BBQ, but he said it was some of the best he's had! The waiter was knowledgeable about gluten free options and as a celiac I felt safe eating there.

Came here two nights in a row because it is absolutely the best bbq food I’ve ever had. Both waiters we had each night were knowledgeable on what was safe for celiacs. All smoked meats are gluten free along with all barbecue sauces. Did not get sick.

We were there later one evening and were seated near the windows. It was rainy so the patio wasn’t open. The view was absolutely gorgeous and the food quality and taste matched! We got the nachos with pulled pork (no jalapeños because they are flash fried in a shared frier) and we also shared a brisket dinner with a side of garlic mashed potato. The brisket was melt in your mouth tender and the mashed potatoes were creamy. The nachos were amazing as well, probably the best nachos we’ve ever had. The service was excellent. Prices may seem high but the serving portions are quite large and the food is certainly high quality. One other thing to note, everything is made from scratch so they are very knowledgeable about what is safe for gf folks. I would go again in a heartbeat but alas, we were just passing through.

The food here was delicious and the staff was great! Most of the menu was gluten free and it all tasted so good. They were out of the brisket when we went so we got pulled pork and burnt ends. I would recommend both! Staff was knowledgeable about cross contamination and I felt safe eating here.

Absolutely delicious and most menu items are gluten free. The whole family loved their meals. We had the loaded burnt ends and the nachos (without jalapeños.) Really enjoyed this meal!

The faq on their website mentions that most of the items are naturally GF while the menu only mentions that two items can be made GF by forgoing certain ingredients on request. In actuality as long as you stick with the standard meats and sides and avoid moat of the appetizers you will be golden. I had the brisket with a side of collard greens. I also had the burnt tips and nachos (minus jalepenos to make it GF....) and no symptoms. No clue why the jalepenos contain gluten. Waitress wasnt sure either. All i can think of is they are pickled in malt vinegar. All items were big portions and excellent.

The burnt end nachos were okay, pretty average, the bbq sauce was too sweet for my liking. Then my main course was an $18 salad with 2 small bites of chicken on top served on a small paper plate. They have very few gf options.

Awesome food! Great BBQ! I will absolutely go again. One knock on this place: terribly bad behaving NJ group there and they tolerated kids wrestling and punching each other! Staff did move us but that did not help when the terrible kids came around again! Loud place but like I said, I’m going again.

Food very good. Ate here safely - 1/2 chicken, mashed potatoes and house salad with house dressing. Waiter was a bit too casual which was a concern - however the overall experience was very good. Would eat there again.

Didn't go but was open tonight on Main Street in Lake Placid!

The location of this resturant is in Saranac Lake only now. The Lake Placid Main St location is now closed.

Had two different waitstaff tell us two different things. Unfortunately the first waitress was wrong. The wings aren't safe because they are cooked in a shared frier, I ate the wings, I got sick. The food here is delicious but they could definitely benefit from a GF menu so they don't have to train all of their waitstaff properly.

HANDS DOWN THE BEST BBQ FOOD I HAVE EVER HAD (PULLED PORK IS THE REAL MVP HERE) AND TONS OF OPTIONS FOR A CELIAC <3

We loved it here SO much, we went TWO nights in a row - wait staff was SUPER knowledgeable about what I could/couldn't have - all meats were GF and all sauces were GF! The first night I had the pulled pork with a side salad, tossed with their house maple balsamic - INCREDIBLE! After hiking 6.5 miles the next day, we were starved and wanted to go back to our new local favorite. I had the Sampler Platter, which was Ribs, Brisket, and Pulled Pork with two sides: Collard Greens & Salad with House Balsamic Maple. Great location with beautiful views, as well as great prices and portions - A MUST EAT AT for ANYONE visiting - and LOGAN IS AN AWESOME WAITER!

Great selection of delicious GF food. Only downside is no bread/buns for sandwiches but enough other stuff to eat. Brisket was delicious and tender. Pulled pork and ribs were great too. 4 types of BBQ sauces - all GF.

Amazing food, BBQ nachos out of this world, pulled pork amazing, loved their homemade BBQ sauce (gluten free), and amazing view right on the water. Definitely recommend if you are in the area.

Staff are very friendly helpful and knowledgeable about the menu and what is gluten free or not. Can’t guarantee no cross contamination with fried foods but have an excellent menu and plenty of gluten free options. Nearly all bbq meats have gluten free choices. Best bbq in years gluten free or not.

Dry rub ribs & beef brisket-I immediately became nauseous & was sick for hours. Not sure what happened. Hubby ate same thing and was fine.

We ate here at least three times during our trip a few years back. Fast food, great service, and my celiac husband had no issues. He loved the brisket and they brought out fresh sauces so there was no cross contamination. We STILL talk about how great this place was.

The server was extremely helpful, since she also worked in the kitchen. The smoked wings are fried after smoking, in a non-dedicated fryer. Was disappointed. The half chicken was absolutely delicious, and cole slaw & collard green sides went perfectly

Such a cool spot! Nothing's labeled g free nor gluten free menu but supposedly wings are all gluten free and fantastic!! Get the maple wings!! Beautiful view and nice wait staff.. whiskey is awesome too!

Really great bbq place in town. Food is delicious and the atmosphere was very nice as well. They do not have a specific gf menu, but if you ask about gf food, they have one of their regular menus that is marked up with what can be ordered gf. I've always found it quite easy to be celiac and find things to eat at a bbq restaurant and that definitely holds true here. Great restaurant, would highly recommend.
