The chef and owner is very nice, he explained me everything in english as well as he could. He makes all the sauces and even the pasta here and it’s all completely gf, because he also has a intolerance to gluten but not so bad as a celiac. I ordered the pork terine and korean pickles, it was very tasty and different. I will return for the fresh rice pasta for sure until I leave Korea. I liked the experience.
This is a completely gluten-free restaurant that is hard to find in Korea. Homemade Korean sauces (e.g. red pepper paste, soy sauce) are gluten-free and safe. While it is based on Korean food, the pasta and gnocchi are fresh and delicious. The dessert cake is also perfect. Everything is gluten-free and there is also a vegan menu.
Food is safe and very tasty. One thing I would want to know before I came is the drink situation. If you order from their ‘all day menu’ you have to buy a drink (which are priced ok - 6.5k won). But if you want to order from their dinner menu, you HAVE to buy a bottle of wine (cheapest is 53k won). There is enough from the all day menu that will get you by for a dinner - you might just need to order a couple of things.
Other thing to note is that oats are used in the kitchen, although they aren’t in all dishes.
After looking all around Seoul for gluten free places this one was amazing. They have a ton of bakery items like cookies, cake, tiramisu and rolls. They also have a small lunch menu with salads, sandwiches and seafood options. I had the pulled pork sandwich, a cookie and got multiple things to go. The quality of the food was fresh and the staff was nice. The food also tested without gluten in my Nima sensor. Definitely worth visiting if you have celiac!
