I’ve eaten here several times and never have gotten sick. They use tamari instead of soy sauce. Many items can be made GF if you ask. Some servers are knowledgeable and others will confirm with kitchen. Overall I feel comfortable eating here.

UPDATE:
Went back to Soba after noticing their menu outside had clearly marked gluten free options. Figured I owed them a second chance if they went through the effort of marking. I called the order to eat at home just in case I got sick again and was pleasantly surprised! The food was marked as celiac on the receipt and everything was delicious! I think they have turned a new leaf here. Will be back.

Staff was helpful in navigating what could be done on the menu, but other than the vegetable sushi roll nothing else was inherently gluten free. Everything had to be modified. Ultimately, I ended up quite sick after the experience. To top it all off, the food was overpriced and, not exaggerating, the entree was one of the worst meals I’ve ever had in my entire life.

The staff was very knowledgeable about celiacs and most of the menu was available to be made gluten free. They made it very easy for me and I was even able to share food with the rest of our party, since we could all eat the gluten free dishes —there were so many!
The food was delicious. My favorite pan Asian in Pittsburgh!
