Visited this bar purely based on reviews on this site. Walked in and seated without a problem - was Bingo night so lots of noise and energy in the bar which was great - locals enjoying a good night out alongside walk-in diners and bar drinkers. It’s a great place with friendly, knowledgable staff. Menu is focussed on simple bar food BUT they take GF patrons needs really seriously. Ordered chicken tenders and onion rings - all GF and prepared in dedicated friers. Tasted terrific - that crisp and crunch you miss most, once you have to go GF! Really enjoyable evening and fantastic food.
Great place! Lots of gluten free food. I had the chicken fingers and fries, they do have a separate fryer for them as well a gluten free buns for sandwiches.
This was an excellent find. The owner said he has six fryers to avoid cross contamination! He was extremely accommodating. My food was delicious and I even had fries. I didn’t get sick here. I highly recommend for a safe meal out.
Food was good, a little more Bar like than I anticipated bringing kids in for lunch but dedicated fryer and games to play while waiting for food were a bonus.
Went for a late lunch and it was so good! The owner talked about how he wanted to make sure most people could eat there, they have a gf fryer, and everything is hand breaded. I got the onion rings and chicken fingers and they were so yummy! Will definitely be going back. He did mention that there is a chance of cross contamination, but anytime you go to a restaurant there will be. I felt safe so long as there was a dedicated fryer and they knew I had celiac.
Gluten free buns, fryer, fries, etc. great experience for my celiac fiancee
