Excellent experience here! Most things are naturally gluten free, including the chips! Edit to add that each time I go, I verify that the chips are fried in a separate frier. The owner has a gluten allergy or sensitivity & is very knowledgeable. Best chips ever!
Very helpful staff that are knowledgable and sensitve to gluten allergies. Food was also very tasty.
After the good reviews and speaking to the hostess on the phone we gave it a try (celiac). She assured us most things were GF or could be gluten free.
Our waiter however was very aloof and said. Yeah. We have many items . Just let me know. When I asked which items were gluten free. He said tell me what you want and I’ll let you know if it’s GF. We felt that funny you know….omg. What have we gotten ourselves into. He was not confident. At all.
We happen to love the nachos and the tacos. Had no issues. The waiters lack of knowledge/ care brought it down. The fact we didn’t get sick brought it up. 3 stars

When we arrived and asked the hostess about GF, she was immediately familiar with Celiac and proceeded to explain the options. She also said they had a dedicated fryer so the chips are GF. The server was very knowledgeable about GF and what items my daughter could have. Everyone was very friendly. The food was good (especially the guacamole)! The only thing is that they had paper straws (which CAN contain gluten). But they happily changed out her drink and the server even followed it up with "better to be safe!" This was a great experience!
*I gave it 3 stars for options only bc their menu isn't really extensive to begin with. But you can replace certain things Gf options.
Server was VERY knowledgeable about Celiac and answered all questions with zero hesitation. Understood cross contamination, etc. The only foods that are safe are the soft tacos. Their fryer has shared oil so I wouldn’t trust anything from there. Also do not trust the chips as those are fried in the same frier that uses shared oil. Otherwise, they have some options for us Celiacs!
Nearly everything on the menu is gluten free, including the corn chips served for free with your meal. They have 2 fryers and one is dedicated gluten free. It's a large restaurant and does also have outdoor seating. Yummy margaritas too! I posted some pictures of our food.
Tacos are normally around 8 dollars for 2 but on Tuesdays they are only 2 dollars each!
There are other daily specials too.
Delicious! I have celiac and they were very careful with preparing my meal. Very yummy food and will definitely be back 😍
Sol Oaxaca is a wonderful place to go for delicious GF options. The owner has a gluten allergy & you can choose from majority of the menu! Drinks, food, guacamole and everything we hd was delicious.
