All marinades and sauces are gluten free by nature so they are able to modify EVERYTHING on the menu to be gluten free (besides the gyozas). Kitchen and staff are extremely knowledgeable and they have a dedicated fryer they use for gluten free sushi toppings!

Literally everything but the gyozas is either already gluten free or can be modified to be gluten free! They were so knowledgeable that I decided to trust them with an 18 course omakase. One of the best meals of my life and they absolutely took care of every single dish to make sure it was not only completely gluten free but delicious as well!

Soto was absolutely INCREDIBLE! We stumbled upon it after seeing online they could accommodate gluten free items as I have celiac disease. After a cocktail and their delicious hamachi appetizer (where they fried the jalapeños with gf flour & in a separate fryer), we decided they were so delicious and cautious with gluten that we would try their omakase.

My husband and I go to omakase in New York so we love to trust the chef and oh boy Soto did not disappoint! Some of the courses we had were uni with quail egg served in a wine glass, salmon roasting on an open coffee bean fire, wagyu cooked at the table, chocolate foie gras with 8 year old sake, and many more - there were 18 courses!! Chef Andy came out to personally meet us and sent out sake and a gluten free dessert. Each waiter was incredibly friendly (Billy really took care of us!) and everything was super clean for COVID.

We are only visiting yet we have already decided we will be back! It’s not too often that as a celiac you can fully trust a sushi restaurant so the fact that they were able to modify everything to be gluten free without taking away from any of the flavors was incredible. 1000/10 recommend trying out Soto and especially their omakase for the quantity and quality of food you get with the price!
