Soul Taco - Shockoe Slip

I saw this place on Diners Drive-Ins and Dives and saw another branch on FMGF and geeked out! I went to the one on N 2nd street and it is small and the person ringing up the food wasn’t knowledgeable about gluten, so I didn’t eat there. This one the waiter was knowledgeable. They have corn tortillas and all the meats were gf. He stated that they didn’t have a dedicated gf kitchen, so couldn’t say about cross contamination, but said if I wasn’t celiac, it was okay. I tried each of the tacos ox-tail, cat fish, jerk chicken, pulled pork, and sweet potato. The jerk chicken and cat fish were the best!! Delicious!!
