Our server was a bit forgetful, but the two Celiac members of our party found plenty of options

Used to be very good at catering to coeliacs disease but there has been a recent change in ownership - new owners have removed gluten free fryer.

No longer have a gluten free fryer. Few options that we'd consider safe gluten free for coeliac. Do mention on the menu that they can't guarantee gluten free without cross contamination

Only thing they could offer to feed me was a bowl of olives. Said everything was not suitable for celiac although there was lots listed as GF on the menu.

Same as the recent reviews. Used to be good but would reccomend avoiding now. As soon as they hear the C word they list off disclaimers and it feels like they're discouraging you from ordering at all. Very limited options especially if you're vegetarian. No gf fryer.

Disappointed to find out even though the foods are listed as GF on the menu, they were not coeliac safe. Asked to find out what was and had the choice of a burger or chips. I had walked all the way to this restaurant with my family while on a holiday with hope of a yummy meal. $125 and very disappointed. The non gluten free hotdogs my ten year old had were soaked in oil, the pork belly was dripping in oil also, burger was average, chips were good though! If you want chips, they have a dedicated fryer for them and they’re crispy and tasty.

Plenty of gluten free options on menu, plus most of the desserts in the cabinet were gluten free too. Also have gluten free kids options. Waitress was happy to answer any questions and went and double checked with the kitchen when unsure. Chips can be done in seperate fryer
Yes
A few good GF options, including chips in a separate fryer. Cealiac wife had no issues. Unfortunately food is just not very good here (eaten here a few times), and a bit pricey.
Yes
Coeliac safe deep frier and knowledgeable stuff. Downside for me is inconsistent food quality. I've been at least half a dozen times and mostly food has been cold, small or just under pa. It's great for kids if your just ordering fries. Best not to go when it's busy.

Delicious food! And incredible desserts. Separate frier and felt in very safe hands :)

Had a beautiful stone grill tonight and GF coeliac friendly fries which were such a treat (dedicated fryer). 2 for 1 stone Grill Tuesday nights. Was delicious and lots of GF desserts too (if you can fit it in) 😀
Highly recommend Southern Cross Bar and Restaurant Wellington City. Dedicated fryer and so many CF GF options. First time my daughter has had fries in a long time. Shared an amazing Stone Grill. Had a beautiful breakfast and an even more amazing tuna poke bowl. On holiday in Wellington and have visited many times as my daughter feels "safe" here and has so many options. Staff friendly and knowledgeable and 2 minute walk from our hotel. Lucky us to find this place. It's made our trip so much easier and enjoyable as we've had a few disappointments elsewhere.

Delicous food. Dedicated fryer. Great staff. Plenty of options even for a vegetarian celiac. We will be coming back next time we are in town! <3

Great food, I feel very safe eating here as a coeliac. Dedicated fryer is a bonus.
Yes
Seperate fryer, gluten free options on menu, gluten free items in cabinet
Is a very popular place, so allow time to wait on a busy night. Food was delicious. The burgers came on gf bread but the bread was Devine
