The manager was very attentive and wanted to please my 10 year old…when he noticed he wasn’t eating the GF wings he came by and offered to make him something else. The tacos were a better choice. Although the food wasn’t amazing for kids and there weren’t a ton of options, it’s just nice to go somewhere where they listen to your needs and want to please. It’s nice to have options and we were able to eat at a new cool place

This is My cousins review but I want to share it because this restaurant is unsafe for those who are sensitive to gluten or Celiac:Not impressed and certainly not deserving of the high rating on Yelp. We chose this restaurant for brunch specifically because their online menu indicated some (tasty looking) gluten free options. Well. We were informed by our server that some of the items listed as gluten free (GF) on the menu were not, in fact, gluten free. But some were. What?!Server indicated that management knew about the issue (a "typo" that wasn't caught before printing) but did not want to reprint/update all their menus. They didn't seem too worried about possibly sending my friend (or someone else with Celiac's) to the hospital. That attitude is absurd - this is 2018!So, the chef did come out (after 10-15 minutes) to review some other gluten free options for my guest. My guest was able to rally and pick one of the options the chef suggested. But by then I was already so disappointed by the error, the confusion as to what exactly on the (already somewhat limited) menu was in fact gluten free, and the delayed and not very apologetic response by the management. And after all of that, the food was mediocre and nothing to write home about. So, Southern Kin, you would have only received 3 stars from me for your food and drink, but minus 2 for your lack of care about the health and safety of your patrons. Get it together.
