Spats at Blennerhassett Hotel

I’d give them a zero star rating if I could - this is for their banquet department, not the restaurant. I attended a wedding where my family alerted the culinary team in advance of my Celiac, the hotel printed a gluten free marked place marker for my seat, I plead my case with the server (who rolled her eyes at me and assured me it was covered). The server double checked with the kitchen and assured me that my meal would be gluten free and safe. I ate 4 bites of my steak and 4 pieces of vegetables, just to get me through the reception, as I was not convinced I would eat safely. I was incredibly sick that night and the entire next day, ruining my last day with my family on my trip. NOT SAFE!

Had a business dinner and was nervous so called ahead and chef was very accommodating. Server was very helpful the night of the dinner and checked with the chef often to see which foods I could have.
