Review of Spencer's Restaurant

Soooo this place is steakhouse level fancy which was unsettling. Once I got to my table I was a little more at ease. Piano player helped with that. There's a good selection for NCGS on the menu, clearly marked. Sorry celiac friends, I forget if the menu was marked for you. In general, for what I ordered they were willing to make additional small changes, salad dressing. I had the puttenesca with gf fusilli. Sauce was flavorful and pasta was pretty soft and chewy. Also had the cesar, which was literally a wedge of iceberg with two anchovies, but they had to switch the dressing out for oil and vinegar. Lastly, I had the chocolate chip cookie pudding. This was pretty good. Cookie was too much like Udi's garbage hard tak but I still enjoyed the pudding. Pretty judgy slow service but certainly something ignorable. Very pricey. Still, good meal.
