I wouldn't say that our waitress was informed and she wasn't very helpful with the information behind the counter. She was super busy, so I understand that. I did end up getting sick getting the two sushi rolls that were gluten-free. It was pretty tasty before that though.

Several special rolls are gluten free and absolutely delicious and a few other menu items are as well. We are always happy with the amount of selection and clearly marked on menu. Have eaten here at least ten times and haven’t gotten sick.

There are not many options, however I did get a gf special roll and it was excellent. Went back the next night it was so good. Staff knowledgeable about celiac
Yes
Gluten free food is available, but I agree with other reviews - the service is hit or miss. Today the hostess who took my to go order did not know the menu. The chef in the back insisted that dairy half-and-half contained gluten. While I am glad that the staff was trying not to poison me, I did not enjoy spending 20 minutes educating them.
I asked my waiter and he said "nothing here is guaranteed gluten free". Would not recommend.
Delicious sushi. Staff is knowledgable and they have gluten free soy sauce.
I actually found quite a few options at Spicy 9. Their food has always been good too. Sounds like the previous reviewer is more upset about things other than gluten free-ness.
Yes
Spicy Nine says it is gluten-free, but it is horribly challenging and like "pulling teeth" to get gluten-free food. I had absolutely terrible service. I won't be going back to Spicy 9! Additionally, my credit card has been charged more money than I signed for on my receipt!! - my waiter must have decided he deserved a larger tip than I gave him - so BE CAREFUL. If you plan to go to Spicy 9, I recommend that you pay in cash and also take your own water because you won't be getting refills. Terrible!
