Spring Lake Inn

I was attending the Prairie Dog Blues Fest in Prairie Du Chien and Spring Lake Inn was one of the vendors. I had a nice conversation with them about their ribs possibly being GF. I was pleased to find out that the rub they use is GF since a family member has the diet restriction. They weren't sure about their sauces since they didn't make them. When I returned later to pick up the ribs, I found out that they looked into it further and they were indeed GF. I can't comment on their entire menu as I was not at their restaurant, but they indicated that they do have other GF items and regularly have requests. My recommendation would be to stop in and/or call them in advance if you need to eat in this area.

The ribs were great and they gave me a very nice portion. I had no reaction to their food. I am only giving three stars because I only ordered some takeout ribs,which were perfect, but have no information on the rest of their menu or how they handle gluten-free items.

Update - We returned to the blues fest again in 2023 and unfortunately, the Spring Lake Inn was not one of the vendors.
