Eaten here several times and never sick
Yes
I have celiac disease and even the slightest cross contamination can leave me in an abundance of pain for weeks. I walk into the small cupcake shop and asked for any gluten free options available. The woman quickly stated "no we have no gluten free cupcakes". Astounded, I looked at my mom and sister confused because I found this place under this gluten free app (which I always use !). So I just told my sister to get any cupcake she wanted and I'll get something sweet somewhere else. The entire time this lady is watching me conversate amoungst my sister and hearing how dissapointed I was. My mother then asked again if there was anything gluten free, in which the lady finally said "yes there is in the back" as her employees began to fill the front desk from the back of the bakery. As we all looked at each other confused I asked for 1 gluten free cupcake as she puts 1 glove on grunting. I was completely weirded out, as I knew this was my worst nightmare to ever happen publicly. I was being discrimated against. She seemed to not want to serve me at all and did not inform me of the ways she would carefull prepare my cupcake away from the others, she also didn't inform me if there were any other flavors or even if how they were made! Either way, even if she did not want to serve me, the fact that she could not provide such valuable information to a person with celiac disease and seeing just the "normal gluten cupcakes displayed" gave me a sickening feeling of being completely terrified that somehow/someway I am going to get sick.if you have celiac, I would not recommend since these regular/gluten free cupcake are made fresh DAILY. With the chances of flour flying around everywhere and not having a completely dedicated area for us Celiac's.
No
Only two gluten free options. A red velvet cupcake for chocolate chip cookie. Both are good but a bit pricey for what you get.
I enjoyed the birthday FREEBIE gf red velvet cupcake (sign up for bday club online and bday email for free cupcake). The clerk got it from the back so it wasn't on the shelf with the gluten cupcakes. Pretty great texture, but I prefer the black velvet from Red Velvet Cupcakery in D.C.
Yes
Their GF red velvet cupcakes are excellent, but I would not recommend for those with Celiac or gluten allergies. I've gotten sick multiple times from their cupcakes and realized they can't be trusted re: cross-contamination (as reference, I eat Chipotle regularly and have never gotten sick from cross-contamination.) If they start taking GF more seriously I'd love to go back.

OMG. The best GF cupcakes you will ever have. They only have lemon blueberry and red velvet but they are literally the best GF cupcakes I’ve ever had. You can even special order cakes if needed! They are not dedicated GF, but they said they have a separate part of the kitchen and all separate cooking supplies for the GF products. They taste so much like regular that I feel guilty eating them! They also denote GF products with a G on top of them. I like that.

SPRINKLES KNOWS WHAT THEY ARE DOING! This is the most normal cupcake I’ve ever had since I’ve discovered I’m sensitive to gluten. Finally something that doesn’t feel super dense when you eat it. It was so good I didn’t believe my coworker when he said it was gluten free I had to look it up for myself, because I thought he gave me a real one and I was abt to puke my brains out. They have only two flavors but they are bomb and the fact that they have more then one option is good enough for me. Thank you sprinkles:)

My boyfriend (who has celiac) and I have gotten cupcakes from various Sprinkles locations several times without him having any reaction. They have a few gf cupcake options (loved the lemon blueberry and red velvet) that we get on special occasions. About $5 per cupcake and delicious. We have never had any issue, but they do warn that cross contamination could occur.
