They have GF packaged options, but stay away from the meat counter. My husband picked up sausage here, after explaining I had celiac and asking if it was gluten free. Guy behind the counter didn't know, but printed out an ingredients list. All seemed well, but 45 minutes later I was super sick. It's my own fault for not checking deeper - found out after that they don't classify their sausages as gluten free, even though no ingredients have gluten, because it is "stored with gluten containing items". Stick to the pre packaged stuff if you shop here.
It's nice to have a grocery store that carries GF foods. Since Henry's switched to Sprouts, they've replaced some of their good GF offerings with corn replacements. (If you're not corn-free, this probably doesn't matter to you.) For example, they got rid of Takinyada pasta (the BEST GF pasta), and replaced it with a corn/quinoa brand. It's been gradual, but most of my fav GF brands have been replaced with corn-filled brands. Now I have to shop at Frazier Farms or Jimbo's.
The Sprouts brand GF bread is the best GF bread ever. This is probably the most GF friendly grocery store. Staff is very knowledgeable and they regularly have GF sales. It's kind of hard to find ready made food here unless you do the salad bar.
Hi I think ya'all should really add the sprouts full locations to your list. I had a hard time finding my local sprouts on your app. Which I think is unfortunate cuz they will actually make a gf sandwiches at their deli!!! There's no where in this zip code that does that!!! I just that I should suggest, you add all sprouts locations. I was told that some do use gf bread and sone don't so one should double check!!! This one on 1st ave definitely does though!!
When I went Gluten Free, shopping at Sprouts made that very easy. They have Gluten Free yellow price tags on all gluten free items! It makes it so easy to find things I can eat, and they have a huge selection, plus it saves me a lot of time, no need to search ingredients or try to find the GF on every package. Love it!
Sprouts is Arizona's main gluten free grocery store with a huge selection of GF items throughout. They even have a gluten free aisle, and frozen food section. Periodically they will have a sale of everything GF. That's the time to stock up. The deli doesn't have GF bread for sandwiches though. Disappointed about that.
Whole Foods on a budget.
I can't believe it's barely my very first time checking Sprouts out! Everyone was friendly and helpful. I came across their GF aisle but there's way more GF products throughout the store and a yellow tab would let you know also. I was so excited to see so many. The fresh GF breads are amazing! It was more moist than I expected and compared to one I bought before from Whole Foods. I definitely recommend this place to anyone and everyone! I'll be coming back for sure.
This was my first time to a Sprouts store and I found the entire staff to be very friendly and at the top of their game in regards to customer service. Liked the selection and quality and I thought the prices were competitive. I have definitely found a new place to shop for all my produce.
I traveled to Arizona recently, and I ran out of GF food, so I ended up finding Sprouts. I was highly impressed with the selection of food, and the prices were great! I found a range of items there, and they were all brands I knew and could trust. (Plus some new brands that I found delicious!) They had Vans, Usual, Amy's, etc. etc. I will definatley be coming back!
