As the only 100% gluten free chippie in Tauranga, you’re restricted with choice. Initially, we thought they weren’t too bad. That was, until we tried gluten free fish and chips in other cities. Now, we realise just how ‘not nice’ the batter is. The crumb is slightly better. The tempura fish bites are half the size of a normal fillet, coated with not what I’d call a tempura batter. They could really improve the standard batter. The service and speed are great though.
