The GF bread for the sandwich was delicious! My niece who’s not GF but really picky about food she eats, loved it too! She preferred the GF bread over the wheat they had! And the acai bowl has a GF granola option for extra $. And it’s worth it!!! I love acai bowl but many of the places I go doesn’t have GF granola and it’s sad without it! Worth driving 1 hr to eat!! And it’s located at the beach!
They are very knowledgeable about allergens. When asked if they have GF bread for the sandwich (even though it was written on the wall and I asked before I saw it) she was super friendly and made sure my second sandwich I ordered needed to be GF or not. And when I ordered the Acai bowl she let me know that they have GF granola option available. All the containers were marked to make sure no one got confused. And even when I made changes to the menu she didn’t have any attitude at all! (Which a lot of places I go and I take long time to order due to my restrictions ends up giving me attitude) The food does take slightly long. It’s a little walk up shack. So the kitchen is small. But they do have online ordering option if you’re in a rush! But being next to the water it’s worth the wait! You can enjoy looking at the boats pass by!
