Expensive whitefish, but very good.

All salads can be made Gf. There is only 1 choice for a GF dinner. There are about 3 appetizers that can be made gf. Limited options but still very good.
The staff were knowledgeable The Sous Chef came out to the table and discussed options and precautions I felt ver safe
New summer menu had some tasty choices that were gluten free. I had the Chilled Cherry Soup, really good, and the Cajun Lamb Lollipops....yum!
Yes
Be Very Careful!!!
I decided to try this restaurant, as I had a good meal there several years ago, before I was diagnosed with celiac. I requested the "gluten-free" menu, which as another reviewer correctly noted, is a "special diets" menu, not a gluten free menu per se.
I made my server aware at the outset that I had celiac, and to her credit, she was very good about trying to help me with this. However, I was going to order the vegetable ravioli, which was clearly marked as "gluten-free" on their menu, only to then be warned that none of their pastas were gluten-free. I ended up ordering the planked whitefish instead.
I was told that none of their dressings were gluten-free except for olive oil and vinegar, so I asked to have my salad made gluten-free with olive oil and vinegar. It arrived with a slice of bread on top of it. My server was apologetic, and asked if taking it off would be good enough, or if it needed to be remade.
The salad, once remade, was quite good, as was the fish, so from a food quality standpoint, I have to rate them well.
I complained to the manager afterwards about the issues. I was assured that the ravioli were indeed gluten-free as listed. I didn't get a sense of deep concern from him, however.
So, the bottom line is that the food was good, but I don't know whether what I was served was gluten-free or not. My celiac has always been asymptomatic, so I can't use getting ill to judge. If you're gluten-free by choice, it's probably OK. If you have celiac, I wouldn't recommend eating here. At the least, there is way too much confusion about what is actually gluten-free, and the kitchen doesn't seem to understand celiac.
No
Do not eat here. Complete incompetence. GF menu is actually a special diet menu, which was not made clear at all. Linguini was not GF despite clearly telling waitress that I needed a GF meal.
way over priced. $6forGF cherry-peach cobbler that was maybe 2/3cup at best. only two GF options for lunch. staff acted confused and kept passing us off to someone else to answer questions. we got dessert to go and finally left to find a friendlier restaurant. my husbands cherry pie was extremely ordinary... he said it didn't even taste homemade
Be sure to order the cobbler it's wonderful. The chicken salad with fruit is also a wonderful
So, so good! Gluten free options clearly listed on the menu. One vegan option that is also gluten free. The GF peach and cherry cobbler was delicious and can be topped with non-dairy vanilla ice cream upon request. It was so great to be able to enjoy a nice meal with my dietary restrictions. The only thing that would make it perfect is gluten free rolls, soup options, and more than one salad.
They have GF options clearly labeled on the menu. I had the oak planked whitefish and it was delicious!!! They have one GF clobber dessert but I didn't try it
