Very gf Knowledgeable. They made me roasted papadums (lentil flour), to eliminate risk from cross contamination. No issues with papadum chutneys, raita, chicken butter masala, vegetable korma, and mushroom mutter.

Super knowledgeable about gf options. It’s also some of the best Indian food I’ve ever had!

My family has been going to Star of India for many, many years. My daughter and I were diagnosis with celiac two years ago. Gar and his wife have been so incredibly accommodating. They check ingredients for us to verify dishes are safe for us. A few days before heading to the restaurant, Gar has asked me call him since what my daughter and I love (Malai Kofta and vegetable pakora) are both fried. He has his chef cook ours in clean oil to ensure our safety. To say they go above and beyond is an understatement. The entire staff is amazing and always know we are coming in before we arrive. All of their food is amazing!

The staff was very helpful when I said I was on a gluten-free diet and had several other food allergies. They noted that very few of their dishes contained gluten, many were vegan, and they could basically make most items to order. The food is wonderful in both presentation and flavor. The lentil chips are "WOW".
Excellent Indian food and they do a great job with gluten free. I'm a very sensitive Celiac and this is has been one of my favorite places for years. Never been sick and always leave happy. They mark the GF options in the lunch buffet and if you ask, they bring you baked lentil chips instead of naan. For dinner, they can make pretty much anything on the menu GF. The chicken masala is incredible!
