Ran through the Drive through this afternoon for my caffeine fix. I rarely get Starbucks so when I saw they had a GF Canadian Bacon and Egg breakfast sandwich, I grilled the poor barista before ordering it. He confirmed that it is Certified GF and they use dedicated tongs for that sandwich only! I have fallen in love with Starbucks all over again!!!!!
I came here yesterday 4/01/17 and noticed on the menu A gluten-free breakfast sandwich!!!!! I myself have celiac disease so I have to be very careful when I order and what I eat. So I sat in line to confirm that indeed it was gluten-free and they are prepackaged. They heat them up in the package that way to avoid cross-contamination. I ate this beautiful sandwich with NO reaction just pure bliss, I am soooo happy Starbucks has finally made my life a little easier !! It was very good , it was an english muffin with egg, Canadian bacon and cheese and I paired it with my usual bento iced soy latte ! Enjoy people I had to get on here and share the love !!
Certified gluten free breakfast sandwhich
Awesome if you've never been I suggest it. They have a gluten free sandwich that is packaged by itself and many more snacks and drinks.
Always enjoy a stop at Starbucks for morning coffee and scones while traveling; however, since hubby was diagnosed with Celiac we no longer visited. Thanks to the previous reviewer we can once again have our morning coffee at Starbucks. Hubby had the GF breakfast sandwich and I can enjoy my morning scone. Definitely recommend-now to check others locations on our trip.
Friendliest Starbucks that I have ever visited. Had a delicious GF coffee drink, but the service was the best part. Unbelievable!!
The gluten free breakfast sandwiches were removed from their sealed bags before they were served to us. Yikes! The whole point of these sandwiches is that they are in a sealed bag. When my husband brought them back up to the counter, the girl was pleasant, but could not grasp the concept of what he was saying. When he said that they were supposed to stay in the sealed bag she said, "You mean you don't want them cooked?" She did point out that she used gluten free tongs and showed him the gluten free area, but she didn't understand the concept. Finally another worker said, "Never take them out of the bag!" They gave us a safe sandwich after that. Just be alert here because it seems their GF training isn't consistent.
Always a option and there are two in the mall
not dedicated GF kitchen so not great for celiac but might be ok if you have NCGS. they have a couple wheat/gluten free salads in the front, but if you ask they also have a "certified" gf breakfast sandwich (bun egg meat) which isn't awful. but also not listed on the menu in the front anywhere.
Starbucks recently debuted the gluten free breakfast sandwiches. They are very good in my opinion and they make them safely in a sealed bag when toasting them and give them to you in the bag so they are safe. Only giving four stars because they are pricey and I'm waiting for more gluten free options to come out.
certified GF options now! sandwich, cookies and rice cripsy treat starting April 2017
Starbucks has a new gluten free breakfast sandwich, which is made in a certified GF space. What you get is pretty much a ham/egg/cheese tiny sandwich sealed up in a steam pouch of some kind. I believe Chuck E. Cheese does this same thing with personal pizzas. So you can be assured it's safe for people with celiac. They probably just throw it in the microwave, but it's kind of tasty. I can't it Dunkin Donuts breakfast items so I don't have much to compare it to, but from my perspective it's on par with a frozen Udi's breakfast sandwich. Good when you need something on the go, but not amazing. You can buy a box of the Udi's for less money.
We tried the new certified GF breakfast sandwich this morning. What a pleasant surprise! As advertised, it came in a sealed bag. Surprisingly, it was very good! The roll was soft and the Canadian bacon, eggs, and cheese were all yummy. Nothing rubbery. Nice to know there is a safe and tasty option at Starbucks!
This Starbucks offers gluten free chicken fingers and tortilla chips. :)
Consistently care about cross contamination and will advise against something if not certain. I like that kind of honesty. :) I also recommend calling the HQ ahead of time as I found out how to have a newer coffee made. I just had to ask to have the drizzle left off and boom! GF!!!
It's good there you can get drinks and rice crispy's
Starbucks totally doesn't get gluten-free or No-GMO. If you are pregnant, it's safer to stop at a truck stop. The food selection would be better for your baby! At Christmas NONE of the three of their promo speciality drinks were gluten-free. Don't they realize they are alienating 40 million people in the US alone.
