The food was delicious, staff was polite, restaurant was clean, but NOT CELIAC SAFE!

My son and I, both, have Celiac disease. When we arrived we inquired about a gluten-free menu (none available), advised of our disease status, and were told that all sandwiches could be made gluten-free, but the fryer is shared and has cross contamination. They gladly substituted fruit for the fries in my son's kids meal and made a grilled cheese on GF bread. I had a reuben on GF mock-rye bread. The sandwiches were good and the visit was pleasant.

Today my son and I both are sick with all of our individual symptoms that are consistent with gluten exposure. The only change to our daily routines was trying this restaurant after reading it was celiac friendly.

Please do not trust the GF options here if you have a medical reason for avoiding gluten.

I will, however, recommend it to my non-celiac friends. Everything else about this restaurant was excellent and I cannot emphasize that enough. This rating is solely based upon its safety for Celiacs.
