April 2024 Yesterday I ate at Steam for the 3rd time. I had chicken and it was supposed to be glutenfree. I talked to them before and explained that im really sensitive. The waitress told me that the food was glutenfree, but I got sooo sick. I called them today and another waitress told me; no, the chicken is with gluten. They served chicken with gluten on glutenfree bread.

I called the manager and he was sorry. They talked to the new waitress and informed her about this incident. The restaurant will have a new menu with allergens marked in two weeks. ——— Feb 2024 Was really nice and perfect atmosphere with live music! Did not got sick and really sensitive, loved the fries and Club sandwich

We had dinner with 6 people, 2 children and 1 grown up had to eat gluten free. Two had the cheese burger, which had dry old bread instead of a bun. The youngest (5) could not eat from the children’s menu, he could only have fries. We asked for a plain burger, but we had to orde a cheese burger (appr 19 euros), so we had to pay 16 euros for a plain burger for a 5 year old. (The lady said: we have other options on the childrens menu but they are not gluten free 🤷‍♀… ok so we cannot choose those righy?) Also, they forgot the salad and 1 plate! Never stopped by and impossible to contact someone, they were short staffed she said when we left… not even an apology. Had to pay for everything though, also the missing salad…

Small comfort that at least the 5 year old probably will not get sick as he only ate fries (we could not even order the ketchup… as the plate for the fries never came nor did anything else)

Het personeel had wisselend kennis van gluten. Een hamburger met patat kon wel. Mijn dochter kreeg 2 plakjes aangebrand brood met een hamburger ertussen (voor 17 euro), patat was wel Glutenvrij, maar moest nog apart betaald worden.

Voldoende keuze, behalve de desserts. Maar de ober was zo vriendelijk om sorbetijs bij een van de andere restaurantjes te halen! Wat een service. Lekker gegeten.

Had a great delicious diner last week. There is not a special gf menu, but the Cook has a lot of knowledge. Almost everything on the menu is possible like the cheeseburger.

Staff was knowledgeable, many options availableand fries are made in a separate frying pan. Had a burger could be made gluten free, although they just used normal bread slices instead of burger buns. Food tasted good

Almost everything in the menu can be gluten free (including burgers). Separate frying pan used only for fries. I had the chicken naturel which was served with fries, coleslaw, a apple mouse. Knowledgeable staff.
