Apparently the thing to do is go later - like after 6:30 or 7:00 pm - when the grill has been fired up, and there should be lots of wonderful grilled meat that's gluten free. But we didn't know that and went earlier so I can only say that the lady who was working when we arrived did not know what gluten was, but she was willing to look at a small text I showed her, called someone to talk over what food would be safe, and then basically told me that the salads would be safe and the fried cheese. So I had salad and fried cheese, and some of the house made white wine, and it was actually pretty tasty. Not a lot of options, but I think that's at least partially my fault for going too early before they had their grill going. And I liked it that they were very careful when I told them it was an allergy.
