Steve's Landing Restaurant

I ordered grill fish, grilled shrimp and saffron rice. They had a gluten free menu but not a dedicated fryer. The fish and shrimp were yummy. The coleslaw came first and was great!

We came with a party of six. The gluten free menu is just the gluten free items already on the regular menu. The service was friendly and prompt. The restaurant is located on the intercoastal near Galveston Bay, which is quite scenic. Tugboats push barges up the Bay. The portions are large and the seafood is quite good. People in our party who ordered steak and chicken were not as pleased. The moral is that when the shrimp and fishing boats pull in next door, order shrimp and fish.

We recently visited the Bolivar Peninsula, and I called around to ask about gluten-free food. Steve's Landing informed me that they had a gluten-free menu (not shown online) and separate fryer for gluten-free food. We went twice on our trip because it was so good. I got the GF blackened tuna tacos both times. They were amazing! My wife also got the Coconut Fish Curry which was also good. Can't wait to go back. Also, they make a fantastic margarita ;)
