The grilled dinners are all GF as are several of the sides. They do have other GF menu items as well and they have a separate list/menu behind the counter if you ask for gluten free-free options. The food was delicious, staff friendly, and I would return.
Food was delicious and I did not get sick. I had blackened grouper with cold slaw and potato salad. It was very good. It is a little beach shanty. Seemed to be very knowledgeable about gluten.
The fish tacos and potato salad were great! Apps and reviews helped me to order gf food. The guy at the counter had very limited knowledge. Another employee helped us out.

The food was good and I appreciate the GF menu. However when I ordered my food and told the cashier about my allergies they still added hush puppies to my plate.
Loved Stewby’s SO much we went twice! Knowledgeable staff, lots of choices, & no reaction! When we ordered gluten free tacos they made sure to tell the cooks in the back that it was for an allergy. Fresh & delicious!!!
got the shrimp and fish tacos w corn tortillas! super good but make sure to mention no fries, fries come w it and are in a shared fryer. lots of gf sides to choose from instead
Not everything at the steamer is gluten free. My kid just got sick that them being clueless. Do not eat here
Great food and great knowledge about gluten free and dairy free. They have a sides menu with marked dairy free and gluten free items. Everything at the Steamer’s next door is GF and the red shrimp are amazing! I had the tacos. They gave me extra pico in place of the cheese and sauce I couldn’t have due to dairy ingredients. Even so, they were amazing! All of the food is delicious and they were patient and able to answer all of my questions and easily accommodate my many allergies.
Staff was very nice. Cashier communicates back to the kitchen that the order is for a gluten allergy. Had the gluten free version of grilled fish tacos on at least ten occasions with no issues.
Had the fish tacos with corn tortillas and the tomato cucumber salad (since the French fries are cooked in gluten oil) and it was sooo good! They were knowledgeable about gluten free and guided me with what to order! Some of the best fish tacos I’ve had!
We needed to find a place to eat out while shopping and found this funky little shack! It was DELICIOUS. Based on this ap, I told my husband (celiac) to make sure to say no hush puppies. He had the grilled catch-of-the-day and was SO GOOD. He ordered a side of fries and coleslaw which were equally as delicious. We will definitely be back! He never had any issues or reactions after!
Solid option - most things from the steamer side especially are naturally gluten free. I always get the shrimp steamer and they are always fresh and delicious. I’ve eaten here a few times and never had a reaction.
Grilled fish tacos on corn tortillas were delicious. The side item can be traded out for something gluten free. The coleslaw and potato salad were both delicious.
There is a gluten free menu behind the counter so they can show you what is gluten-free.
Not a huge seafood person, but the sides are really yummy (got coleslaw, potato salad and green beans). Ask for GF menu at counter
Food was delicious!! I got grilled shrimp, coleslaw and green beans. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Unfortunately there must have been some minimal cross contact because I had some stomach pain after we left. Family loved their food which was off the normal menu. Great price!
My daughter is celiac so we got her the grilled shrimp and salad wedge. The service was excellent and the girls even went back and checked to make sure the ranch was gluten-free. They also have a gluten-free menu. Excellent!

Stewby’s is a reasonably priced local seafood restaurant and market. No GF menu, but a posted list behind the counter covering all major allergens. Staff made clear that they take appropriate precautions when guests disclose an allergy. They were attentive and thorough, and we had a great experience!
No celiacs in our party, for what it’s worth, and there’s plenty of flour in use.
