My favorite GF place in KC. Best GF nuggets and sauces I’ve had anywhere. Owner is involved and goes the extra mile to make sure things are done right and safe.
GF buns for burger options, GF mac & cheese, AND GF nuggets + fries from a dedicated fryer. I got the nuggets and fries, and tried a handful of sauces (which are all GF except for gravy).
perfect for my nugget & fry craving late this evening - I did not get sick!
Great place, delicious food, every item than can be gluten free is clearly marked, and there are a lot of options. HOWEVER, you must must mention your allergy even if you only order the gluten free items,I got sick immediately the one time I forgot to mention. They are truly gluten free upon request only.

Thanks to a tip from a stranger at the running shoe store I found myself here (if you happen to see this, thank you). Solid food, gf items clearly marked, and a well trained staff.
Amazing options, incredibly knowledgeable staff and fabulous owner. We love going here several times a week. Thank you for showing people that gluten free can be done in a “faster” food setting. The fried pickles are amazing! And love the GF Mac and Cheese. Wish they’d bring back the salads, at least as a quick side option instead of all the heavy sides. The recent remodel is fabulous and the place was spotless the last time we ate inside. No more donuts, so no more confusion when ordering GF. Keep up the good work Todd. The staff is always fabulous as well!
The honey chicken is sooo good. They have gf Mac and cheese which is incredible also. Separate fryer! French fries and fried onions as well :) family owned as well! I have celiac and never had a reaction!
Gone to Strips for years. Had many positive experiences with lots of options on their menu. The only time they messed up was when they gave me a burger on a regular bun. Didn’t find out till half way through and was up with nausea and vomiting the rest of the night. Haven’t been back since. That being said, they have some really good tasting good and are generally safe with separate fryers. Definitely recommend, although be careful ordering anything with a bun!
Food is bland and tasteless. Have tried numerous items on the menu and ordered 5 times thru drive thru in a one year span. Gave it chance after chance with no improvement. It’s not worth it. Plus the owner is arrogant, rude, a copycat, undermining, and tactless. Many restaurant owners don’t like Todd, the “proprietor”. Although I appreciate his efforts to bring variety, the food doesn’t match his bloated ego.
Wonderful food and safe with Gluten free!! All gluten free items are marked GF on the menu so you know what you can and can’t have. Some things are automatically gf like the chicken nuggets and fries. They have their own frier and even the Mac and cheese is automatically gluten free!! Definitely recommend!
Great food! Stuff was extremely friendly and knowledgeable about gluten free. My girlfriend had french fries the first time at a restaurant since she had celiac. The chicken sandwich was huge. We will definitely visit there again!
Good fast food made onsite. Large portions and a great understanding of celiac and the importance of gluten free for them.
Good to be back. I had Smashed Potato bowl with white chicken chili with the coleslaw as a side. We split the 3 piece chicken whole chicken wings to give them a try. Everything was very good. I felt great afterwards and the next morning.
Was once an awesome place, but now not so much. Owner is very knowledgeable and kind, but not present anymore at the Olathe location. Employees are indifferent about making sure what you order is not contaminated. I’ve gotten sick a few times since it’s gone downhill. Restaurant is filthy, too. I avoid this place now, unfortunately.
Easy to order from there gluten free menu. It was good tasting food to.
My son and I have been eating here for years. We often make a trip just to eat here. We have never had any problems. They have dedicated fryers… so besides ordering items marked as gf on the menu, we also order it “gluten free” to be sure it goes into the gluten free fryers. Soooo goood!!
We have eat here often and have had no issues. The food is good and portions are large. My wife has celiac and they are very conscientious and safe.
I am extremely sensitive Celiac and they have been phenomenally awesome and careful when we have been there. Been at least 15 times without any issues.
We were nervous but had read all the reviews & decided to give this a try. My daughter who is celiac was so excited to have breaded chicken. Menu identified gf options & we were surprised by all the offerings. Staff was able to answer our questions. She had the breaded chicken & fries and daid they were good. All their sauces are gf except the gravy. We tried to go back the next day after her volleyball tournament but they were closed.
We ate here after seeing a new allergen menu circulate and were very excited to try it. I got the honey chicken nugget, fries and onion straws. My husband got the sandwich. Both of us felt sick within hours of eating and now are having other symptoms that we haven’t experienced in years since we stopped having gluten and dairy. Do not recommend this place from a safety perspective!
Staff was able to let me know what items were gluten free. I got the gluten free nuggets and mashed potatoes. Taste and crunch on the nuggets was amazing.

An awful place. The staff does not know or care about celiac disease. They will poison you and get mad if you ask them not to.
Amazing experience! Daughter with Celiac got the Mac and cheese and fried onion straws. She was in heaven! We do not have options like this for fast food where we live, so this was a treat! Staff was very knowledgeable and said all GF items have a dedicated fryer. Menu is clearly labeled.

Their food is so good! Our 5 year old son with Celiac Disease was able to enjoy some fried chicken nuggets for once.
Gluten free fried chicken nuggets, fries, and Mac and cheese! It was delicious and I didn’t get sick. The staff was super helpful at explaining what was gluten free, but the menu was also clearly marked. I will definitely be going back!
I got multiple sides labeled as GF but sadly was glutened from this restaurant.
They have a lot of menu items that are gluten-free. Including BREADED chicken nuggets and Mac n Cheese. All of which is delicious!
We love strips. Never had an issue here. Their pickles and jalapeños are delicious!!! Staff is very helpful. Best to order ahead and pick up.

Not celiac safe! Rating is giving this 2 stars, but I would give it a 0 for not safe. I had been to Strips before and had been told the nuggets and crispy chicken were gf. This time the same man at the counter told me they were not gf. Disappointing, I made the drive for the gf chicken nuggets. So, based on his recommendations I got the grilled chicken club, grilled strips, and smashed potatoes without gravy (he advised that the gravy is not gf). When I got home, there was no notation of gf on the receipt, the bun really did not look gf, strips were okay/good, but I went there for the crispy nuggets. The potatoes had gravy on it. They have gf items on the menu, but the kitchen really isn’t trained and communication isn’t dependable. Really disappointed and sadly won’t be back.
Strip’s is beyond words. Way better than any fast food place and honestly better than some dine-in restaurants.
I love that they are masters of each and every item on their menu. And their customer service is top notch.

Holy crap holy crap holy crap!!! This was so good. The Mac and cheese is all gluten free and even my gluten loving friends enjoyed it! You won’t regret the food!

We super nervous. But both ladies behind the counter talked to me about the menu and the separate prep station and fryers. Husband does not have to eat gluten free, but he does so to be supportive. He got a pork burger on the gluten free bun, side of chili cheese fries. I got nuggets, loved the mango habanero sauce. The pickles and jalapenos were nice. I got a side of the mac and cheese with my nuggets. I love the mix of cheeses used, my husband is not a huge mac person and could not tell, but I wanted to be a chef... so I could taste it all. I left very happy and waited 2 days to post just to be sure I did not get sick. We plan to bring my father with us next time
The staff was very knowledgeable. When I mentioned m6 food allergy a senior staff took over to ensure my meal was safe. We spoke to the owner in the dining area. He is a class act. I had chicken nuggets, Mac n cheese, and fried pickles and jalapeños. No reactions. I will be back!
Dedicated fryer. GF fried chicken and fries!! Yes please!! Have never gotten sick. Clearly labels what's gf and what's not. Mention allergy when ordering.

Our family LOVES Strip's. We eat here 3-4 times a month. Many, many gf options. It is so great to know we can safely eat somewhere local. The entire restaurant is not gluten free but all staff is fully trained in safe gluten free food prep and cross contamination prevention. They have a dedicated fryer with a separate filtration system. You can even buy bags of their gf flour blend! Some gf menu options include chicken nuggets, mac and cheese, pulled pork, fried pickles & jalapenos, fries, wings, smashed potatoes, white chili, pork rinds, slaw, sweet potatoe tots, ice cream (gf cones!), gf buns etc.
Fantastic, and no reaction from gluten free fried pickles and peppers! So nice to get a meal instead of just an unfinished item.
Kept hearing that this place had good gluten free chicken. When I walked in they had everything marked GF that was gluten free but the workers were also super knowledgable. I ended up getting grilled chicken strips 5 piece. It came with 2 sauces and they were the best gluten free sauces I have found. Normally meala come with a side and donut but since I am gluten free they gave me 1 of the gluten free nuggets to try and it was incredible. They knew how to prepare the food, had dedicated fryers, and helped me feel safe. Today is the next day after eating there and I have not gotten sick or felt glutened at all.
