Food was good, staff was knowledgeable about celiac, changed gloves without being asked. Our celiac person did not have a reaction. 3 of our 4 did not add the avocado, food was still sufficient and filling.

The staff was knowledgeable about which items were not gluten free (mainly sauces and brownies). They took care preparing our dishes and they were delicious.

This worked for a quick lunch. Staff knew what was gluten free but not fully confident cross-contact is fully avoided with the way they make the bowls. Thankfully had no reaction.

I got a chipotle chicken bowl and it was just OK. The chicken was very dry. Bowls don’t come with rice unless you ask them to add it for a fee. The staff is knowledgeable on gluten and very few items at the restaurant contain gluten. They have an allergen list/table/matrix up that’s easy for the staff the reference if you have any questions, which I like more than people operating off of memory.

Avoid the toppings if you are severely sensitive to cross contamination, as there is a good chance of serving spoons used for them will touch plates with sauces that are not gluten-free. Other than the sauces, everything else is gluten-free however, and quite tasty

Everything was fresh and delicious. My son had a bowl with pulled pork and I had one with veggies. Only two toppings and a few sauces were not gluten free and they were easy to avoid. So delicious and we both felt great afterwards! Great service too!

I am not celiac, so cross contamination is not as big of a concern to me as some. However, I felt safe eating here. The food was fresh and good, and the choices for bowls were interesting! The Avo brownies are NOT gluten free, which is a shame because that would be so easy to change.

Great fast casual spot! When we visited 7/8/23 this location didn’t have the “toast” option which in my opinion made it safer and easier to navigate. I expect, however, that toast will infiltrate this shop and will become something to ask about and fret over. Given our experience at other locations, toast isn’t a deal breaker but an unfortunate complication.
Got several celiac safe bowls and the mousse dessert. Good portions, options, and flavors. Highly recommend

Quick food option where you create your own bowl. Food was fresh and only a few items toppings/sauces had gluten. Great option if you’re looking for a break from a sit down restaurant. Enjoyed it here!

Server was definitely aware of GF vs non-GF options. Almost all ingredients are GF. They keep a chart on the wall for reference as well. The avomousse was delightful! I would definitely eat here again.

Good. Avocado bowls were tasty. Fresh ingredients - means sometimes the sell out of an ingredient. No worries. That’s how u know it’s fresh. Choose from specific recipes or choose your toppings Subway style. If you are also dairy free, watch out for items next to the cheese for cross contamination.

All avocado bowls are made to order in front of you, therefore it’s easy to insure your meal is GF. I am also Dairy free and they have olive oil & balsamic to use instead of dressings. Delicious and healthy lunch.

We visited the location in Old San Juan. It’s like a chipotle to make your own salad/bowl. The staff did not immediately know what was and wasn’t gluten free but we talked through the ingredients and preparation for the beef bowl and it was gf. The plantains are cooked in an air fryer. The sauces are not gf. The beef bowl was tasty.

Tried out this restaurant on a busy day in San Juan since it had good reviews on this app. However I asked the person working the food line (sort of a Chipotle-style restaurant) whether the sauce in the bowl I wanted was GF. She said no, and then said that none of their sauces were GF. So, I ended up having a dry salad type bowl. Luckily there was a whole avocado in it so that added some creaminess/fat but otherwise was just an average dressing-less salad! I was surprised it had good reviews here so be aware that the menu may have changed and currently don’t have many good GF options.

Super delicious! Only a few things contained gluten and it was easy to avoid them. Build your own bowl place with awesome toppings and sauces.

The restaurant was a little hard to find but the staff was friendly and knowledgeable. The food was very good and they were a lot of choices. I would stay clear of the sauces. I did not get sick.

Very good bowls to pick from or build your own. If getting the salad bowl, keep in mind that the meat (generous portion) served warm on top.

When my bf and I walked in and I asked if the chicken bowl was gf the staff seemed knowledgeable and said yes. I watched her assemble it and saw her pour a dark sauce on it. (The menu called for a cilantro cream sauce). After asking about three times if everything was safe and showing her my gf card I asked what was in the sauce. And good thing I did because there was soy sauce in it. She remade my bowl and I got it with no dressing. Could have been a new staff member but I didn’t feel all that safe eating here.
This place was SO good and I did not get sick at all!

Great food. The staff seemed to know about gluten-free diets, and made suggestions appropriately. We were really impressed by the food and the theme of the restaurant. Definitely eat here, if you get a chance.

This place is down in the heart of Old San Juan. Very fresh, and the menu is gluten free. Very fast service and delicious.

Most of the menu is gluten-free. Fast casual style restaurant that makes healthy bowls and an avocado focused menu with Puerto Rican toppings and sauces. It’s so good!
