Suan Thai and Japanese Restaurant

I had Tom Kha soup (coconut soup) it was delicious- best one in town (i’ve been to all the nearby thai spots and tried the soups)!! Also 100% dairy-free. With a side of white jasmine rice was absolutely perfect and safe!

I asked all my cross contamination questions and felt safe eating it. Have been back 4 times now and never had any issues.

Update: went back, asked more questions about the rest of the menu- so the curries are gluten free but do contain cow milk in case you avoid dairy.

The sushi can be made gluten free, they have gluten free soy sauce.

The stir fry dishes (pad thai included) are all made with soy sauces- avoid!!!!

The fried rice dishes are the only ones able to make gluten free.

Also the salad with peanut dressing was safe and absolutely delicious.

Definitely recommend it if you are looking for legit thai food in Fort Lauderdale.
